Setting aside what it means for a place to be the "most haunted" (number of ghosts? frequency of sightings?), I still LOVE this video series. Hearing about the historic sites and then the alleged hauntings is FUN and the very high quality videos are so atmospheric! But I'm disappointed that places like Herdklotz Park, and Seven Devils Bridge, and Crybaby Bridge and the Embassy Suites hotel at Verdae Blvd. and Salters Rd. weren't mentioned. While none of them are "historic" or "touristy", they are all purportedly haunted, and for me, the fact that they are not at all well known makes them even more interesting. I'm especially intrigued by the Park and the Embassy Suites. The park is on the site of a former sanitorium, and has retained a basement room - UNDERNEATH THE PLAYGROUND. Sounds are heard, and people report feelings of unease as the sun sets, and a mysterious bell is said to ring, but can't be found. The hotel is relatively new, and while no apparitions have been reported, the staff swears the place is haunted, and even construction workers reported bizarre paranormal experiences while building it - such as electricity being turned on even though it wasn't even HOOKED UP yet!

Thanks so much for the love @blackbeardsghost6588. We hear you and wish we had time to cover all of the haunted places in each location. Thank you for sharing some of your favorite spots and we will definitely keep these in mind for future videos! Do you have any other ideas to add to this list?

Also, the Poinsett in Downtown Greenville. The Springwood Cemetery also DT Greenville. Or the Richland Cemetery that was the first African American Cemetery. The Grey Man, Old Gunn Church, ALICE FLAGG. Oh Lord there are so many!

Winthrop University in Rock Hill is haunted. Also, there's fields that were once part of Revolutionary War encampments. And now with all the development, the ghosts show up in modern houses. One time i heard disembodied boots, and also saw a full body apparition of a friendly enslaved woman. Also- ALL of Charleston.

You should do one specifically on cry baby bridge from Anderson South carolina..... That bridge has actually been relocated to prior times it originally started in either Virginia or West Virginia or being built where a guy passed away on the bridge then moved to Charleston and then relocated and used in Anderson

I’m kind of surprised that the property where the Columbia Correctional Institution once stood hasn’t had many reports of paranormal activity. It was torn down over a decade ago but that place was first built in 1866 and stayed in use until the 1970s. That place has a history similar to the East State Penitentiary although not as bad. Nothing of it remains and that’s probably for the best
@FrightNightScares8 ай бұрын
Thanks so much for sharing that @codyflake3080. We love hearing about other places we haven't had a chance to look at yet. Have you been to any of the other haunted spots in this video?
@codyflake30807 ай бұрын
Unfortunately no. Not many people I know are as open to this as I am and due to epilepsy I’m not allowed to drive. I have some historic knowledge about some of these places but I’m no expert historian or in the paranormal. The only reason I know about the old prison is because my late grandfather used to work there when it was still in use and used to tell me stories about what he witnessed. I also saw the place on occasion whenever my family entered Columbia. It was located across the Congaree River but was finally torn down in 1999. There’s now some condos where the prison used to be.

I've been to the Boone Hall Plantation it was beautiful the garden was in bloom and many brides were there taking pictures. Those trees on the banks of the water are amazing they are so big you can get in them and everything was draped in Spanish Moss it was like a fairytale

The first picture of the gervais bridge is very old if it is the bridge at all and the water is incredibly high. Incredibly and extremely high. Flood level high and there is a great deal of the CCI prison still left. I would take the prison over what the nincompoops built on the site. That goes for Bull St as well
