All performances from «I am Singer» are OK and the production team was very fair and cool to Dimash. The problem with a show was unfortunatly with the american show CBS World's bests. They were the one who lied to him and were unfair by heavily editing his performances and so on. They thought they could control the artist but they were so wrong. Dimash is a man of principle, traditions and honesty. In his country, there is a tradition of never compete with children but instead, give them a good exemple and open the doors for them. In semi-finals of WB-CBS, they put Dimash against two children, two young and beautiful talents (under 13 and standing no chance against Dimash) one of which was a fellow kazakh girl of Dimash. So he standed to his beleifs and quitted gracefully the show by explaining the situation to the judges. They reacted so bad to him, I was ashamed of the big occidental entertainment machine. I think they were taken by surprise and since Dimash was the favourite to win and the show used him to promote everything with the use of the expression of «the six octaves man», they were losing their biggest star on the show. After this misfortune, Dimash said that he will never do any other competition, that's the end for him and using that pathway to promote his career in America. This show (The Singer) is not the show that was dishonest to Dimash, the American show TWG is the one to avoid. The Singer actually has a number of Dimash’s best songs for reacting and The Singer also resulted in Dimash’s first burst of stardom with the Chinese audience.

@@TheSpeakEasyLounge Dimash appears to have fond memories of the Chinese show. He has even appeared as a guest during other singers’ concerts and he is still incredibly popular in China. TWB told him he would not compete against children, but lied. Dimash’s culture puts great importance to fostering positivity in children and Dimash will only encourage and not compete with children. If that dishonesty was not enough, one of the judges (RP - also host of a drag show - by the way, what qualifies him in any way to judge a show featuring talent from around the world?) insulted Dimash while Dimash maintained his decorum and did not fight back. Wonder who is the classier individual in that conflict?!

First, they lied to him and said there would be no children competing because he would not compete with children. In his culture children are special, to be raised with love and caring, and given every chance to grow and excel, etc. as was said by a Kasack judge later. At that time I was totally ashamed of my fellow Americans treating this young boy like this as he came to America for a chance to show the world that all of his hard work and determination had brought him to America. He said on stage in New York when he performed there, (a few years later.) performing on a big stage in America was his biggest childhood dream. The singer is a great show, and they didn’t do dimash dirty. They allow the performers artistic freedom, have an outstanding team of musicians to support them. He did as well as any non Chinese could hope to do in the contest (2nd) and he gained fame and fortune from his participation. The American show “the world’s best” was the one that butchered his performances and lied to get him involved. They disrespected him in many ways, but dimash remained humble and respectful throughout, while staying true to his culture and principles.

Dimash is a story teller. Dimash was asking in Confessa why his woman has changed towards him and why she doesn't love him anymore. She's not the same woman as before. I love when Dimash sings anything in Italian! Passione is an astounding performance based on Dante's Inferno. If you want to give your heart a workout know that Dimash is a story teller. Try Autumn Strong and Daididau from the Singer competition show. They are both songs based on true stories that are tragic. The show that you want to avoid clips from is the World's Best. All of those perfomances are cut short and they treated Dimash disrepectfully.

This show has the best of Dimashs' earliest performances. It was actually a springboard to global recognition. Evidently, Dimash wasn't bothered by not coming in first place. He remained in China for two years recording and having concerts all over China. They even built a new recording studio with state-of-the-art equipment and presented it to him on his 23rd birthday. He was also the spokesperson for several products. So, do not deny yourself the enjoyment of Diamshs' appearances on The Singer 2017. It's where he got the breakout he needed in order to be seen by millions of fans, oops, I mean future "Dears." He was even provided with a famous vocal coach because he still trains vocally for 3-5 hrs a day every day.

Unfortunately you chose this combination of songs. Confessa which is the first song he sings is awesome and afterward you get a small snippet of the diva dance. This one he sings quite a bit lower than the original. He does another longer More accurate version of the diva dance I believe at the Bastau concert and there is a video of it. This one he sings only a semi-tone lower than the original and more closely follows the original. You should definitely check it out sorry it's not the one we got to see you react to this time but feel free to react to it for us in the future.
