One suggestion. I'm a mountain biker and in our community, zip ties and 'multitools' are very popular. Multitools are basically swiss knives but consist of tools. They and zip ties are very useful in many situations. I can't even count how many times they have saved me.

I own a Apache RTR 200 4v and I use it for touring purpose and I usually go on a 1-2 day tour, for 2days tour a backpack was sufficient to carry the luggage but now that I'm used to long distance touring and can ride longer than before, the luggage requirements have also increased, I bought a bigger backpack and tied it with bungee cord on the pillion seat, it did the job and was secure, but it's very difficult to get ON and Off the motorcycle, and thus I was thinking of investing on saddle bags, I did some research and found out that saddle stay is required for mounting saddle bags and I also saw that there are some saddle bags that are available in the market that can be used without a saddle stay, like the Rynox nomad saddle bags but then I don't know if it will really work or not and I am not sure whether it will interfere with the exhaust, indicators etc..., please guide me on how to approach this.
@thesportztourer4 жыл бұрын
Hi Kaushik, I have extensively used the Viaterra claw and Cramster Colt saddle bags on my RTR 200. Both the bags were used without any saddle stay and they didn't interfere with the exhaust. Do note if you load them with less luggage then the saddle bags tend to sag a little down.

Nice video dada, mini toolkit and hand sanitizer are especially helpful. Couple of questions, what size is that spark plug spanner and where to get it? My friend had one which fit the plug but it was little too long for the tank area so couldn't turn it properly, spark plug felt too tight as well. Secondly, I have repeatedly tried brake bleeding in the front master cylinder, in fact got it changed thrice from SVC, it hardly works for a week or two then becomes spongy again. Could the hose be the issue?
@thesportztourer6 жыл бұрын
The sparkplug spanner is 16mm. The hose or the banjo bolts could be the culprit (as you have inspected the other parts of the system). Happy to know you liked the video 😊

Hi Siddharth, Better go for a 10w40 grade oil. Did you try tru4 10w30 fully synthetic?

@thesportztourer6 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately no good branded 10w30 grade oils are available unless you want to go for Honda throttle fully synthetic 10w30. My suggestion will be better switch to Motul 7100 10w40 fully synthetic engine oil, performs efficiently on the RTR 160.

Always its better to carry more than adequate tools 🛠. Because god knows what will happen! And as we know the problem and know how to solve it , but having no tools is a pain in the As*... They, those who commented saying “ you are carrying a workshop” will not come n supply the required tools. You carry all the tool. Dont give a Sh*t about them. Sometimes even a smallest of the smallest tool will help a lot.

Try to cover up as much as you can. Mask, helmet, jacket, golves, pants, boots does the job. Water breaks in every hour when riding in the peak sun helps to hydrate the body and keeps the body cool.

@thesportztourer6 жыл бұрын
Hi Sudipta, I do get to ride the FZ 25 once in a while. The motorcycle is performing great after a year plus of use. Apart from the headlight everything is performing strong, the coneset was changed in warranty 4 months back. The engine is accelerating the same way it did on the day 1. I wish Yamaha brings an ABS version of this motorcycle soon. The FZ 25 is an excellent motorcycle for both street riding and highway riding (cruising speeds 100-110kmph).

The Sportztourer thank you so much. does the headlight console shakes while riding? how is the rear suspension? is it too hard for bad roads??
@thesportztourer6 жыл бұрын
Yes, the headlight console does shakes a bit (even after I tried to tight it). The supension is a bit hard (not much) if you compare it with the Pulsar 200ns or the RTR 200. You will find it plush if you compare it with the KTM Duke 200 or 250. No issues on the bad roads, handles them pretty well.
