Coming back to comment. I have been playing around with this build. Neres screaming sword got me into act 3 (honor mode) and for once I actually used fork (quasit from act one) because she can go invisible and stay invisible and I had her start a lot of the fights so the enemies were surprised. Another great item is the shield of the devout. You can purchase it from the quartermaster at the last light inn in act 2. It gives you an additional level one spell slot. Which is great but what makes it even better is if you use up all your spell slots you can unequip it and reequip it and it gives you another one, so you can do that indefinitely. Another great thing to farm is the potions of angelic reprieve sold in moon rise towers and it restores all level one and two spell slots, so if you run out after a fight and don't feel like long resting, you can take one, sleep for two turns, and all your level one and two spell slots are restored. Those two items are actually really good to farm sorcerer points as well. The drake throat gaive (sold at moonrise) is also really good because you can use it to make any weapon you want into an elemental weapon (additional fire, acid, etc damage) until you long rest. Finally, the amulet of the branding, which is a lootable item found at the creche.

Great stuff Spud, I love making Palassassins! Couple of suggestions if I may: - Not sure if its optimal but lightfoot halflings work well as they never fail stealth - There might be a better option for Act 2 weapon, speak with Z'Rell upstairs and pass a perception check and ask for more help. Then go back downstairs and speak with Lann Tarv, he will have a sword called Render of Mind and Body that gives 1d6 psychic damage when attacking with advantage. - Killers Sweetheart / Luck of Far Realms are good pickups to keep crit hitting after first round, or if you are locked into a closed arena boss fight - As built, it's a bit light on spell slots. Respeccing to Sword Bard 6 / Pal 2 / Ass 3 at Level 11 might be more optimal?

I'm in act 3 on my first honor run playthrough playing as a dark urge & I haven't even had a single character go down in combat. I think I'm going to do a solo run in my next honor mode playthrough. I've been playing D&D games since Neverwinter Nights back in the early 2000's. At this point, this game is too easy for me. Butchered the Druid's Grove & butchered the bard chick while sleeping. I wish I could clone Minthara & make her my wife. That's a badass chick.

The Bhaalist armor is so OP. I am using it on a coop honor mode run as a swords bard/war cleric/fighter with crossbow expert and sharpshooter feat. Took down Orin in 2 seconds, took down Raphel in one turn. I hope they never nerf it.

On lower levels you easily get killed with Honor mode. Yes you have great damage but even 22 armor the enemy is scoring critical hits and they throw grenades and flame bombs and you’re dead.

The only thing I'd change is stopping Paladin at 6, and take those last 2 levels as sorcerer, few more slots and you can use that item trick to create sorcerer points to then in turn create more spell slots.

Yes, as long as weapon is finese. I not included, but you can feel preety good with a bow too :) thats why DEX is main, + its initiative and AC for medium arnour and we can have more CHA for dialogues and spell success

I had the same issue. for me it was because I had a mod that fixed a bunch of bugs. normally you're not supposed to be able to cast it on yourself but it's bugged and larian never fixed it

"Love" videos like this. You praise your build, insert a couple of the most successful strikes into the video. But essentially? A level 5 paladin has 5 spell slots, spent them in a couple of battles and got dull average unimpressive damage 🙄 Considering how many battles there are and on honor mode we try to use minimum longrests not to lose buffs . And paladin spellslots don't reset on short rest.
