I personally thought that ocean plate with the big structure part of the ring was a mountain because it has a more rocky look to it and I think it has snow/white at the top

Ethan Graner no he is thinking of micro scale, a large covenant ship would be amazing maybe the one in halo 3 that had been taken over by flood, I can’t remember the name, but you could build it as covenant or as flood infested.

And you can also make a full ring with multiple sets, just follow the instructions for the first one then take off by building the rest of the ring however you want

Hey simon, did you forget to put the grills on the side studs of the forerunner structure (noticed around 3:55)? Anyways barring that this is probably my favourite set of the new wave, I cannot stop buying them and rebuilding the segments for different terrain! Great review as always! Edit: also you need 5 sets (actually it’s 13-14 segments you won’t use everything)

I do enjoy this set for what it is, but it’s inaccuracy in my opinion bothers me some. It’s scale is WAY off. Halo rings are about 200 miles wide and definitely too big for trees and mountains to be shown at this scale. The micro scale ships should look like specs next to this thing.

Yes! I chose not to mention this problem as honestly with the scale of rings there is no avoiding it. Still a great looking build though :)
