The real what if should be: “What if the Jedi Council embraced the chosen one prophecy?” A lot of ( tho not entirely ) the problems that lead to the fall of the Jedi was the stubborn refusal of the Jedi council ( including Yoda and Mace ) to accept change, and instead they feared Anakin’s potential and so tried to suppress and hold him back. If the members of the council had been more open minded and forgiving then perhaps Anakin wouldn’t have felt that Sidious was the more empathic one, and he would have been more open with the Jedi council members. In the regular timeline Anakin already believed he was the chosen one and so did Sidious, the only ones who didn’t were the Jedi council members ( especially Mace Windu )

This proves that Sidious and Maul were right in that falling to the Dark Side of the Force was part of Anakin's destiny! Destroy the Jedi, join the Sith, be defeated by Obi-Wan, become weak and part of the problem and stand at Sidious's side and then turn on him and destroy the Sith. This is proof that the prophecy was misread by both the Jedi and the Sith, but not Qui-gon "there is always hope my friend, though it often comes in forms not looked for".

@@guynavhe7604 like a video I watched the other day made by pente patrol anakin gains access to the world between worlds early on into the clone wars and ends up saving qui gon and shmi but changes the timeline to where since obi wan never makes the promise to qui gon anakin is forced upon him so their relationship isn’t that great im not gonna say anything else but the ending is cruel the Jedi erase anakin basically since he’s never created he is permanently stuck in the world between worlds unable to visit everyone he loves obi wan doesn’t know him qui gon doesn’t padme doesn’t shmi doesn’t since he was never created in the new timeline he can never see his loved ones ever again accept ahsoka since she was in the world between worlds when it happens and has memories of him they robbed anakin of everything

What if anakin went to dathomir in revenge of the sith to search for ways to save padme. What if yoda decided to swap the masters of ferus olin and anakin. So anakin with siri. This one hit me deep. In retrospect, Anakin still fell to the Dark Side. He fell to the Dark Side as soon as he embraced the Chosen One prophecy and tasked himself with the single-minded goal of destroying the Sith, without realizing just how much damage he had caused. He became a Sith in every way except for admitting outright that he was the very thing he swore to destroy. The moment he started only caring about himself and his goal to prove that he was the Chosen One, he fell to the Dark Side. A Sith led the 501st to commit atrocious acts.

What if evan piel became a mentor or second master to anakin. Or anakin became a healer either before or after his mother death could be related to his friendship with offee or alternatively what if he was trained by tra sa who taught windu and actually did not forbid attachment as shown by her relationship with tholme , they could become like a pseudo parents to anakin and train him away from the temple in azati martial arts and from trasa the living force as she is a plant lady so imagine anakin controlling plant life.
