Yes, Take a week off when the baby comes Evan. It is daddy's bonding time also. My husband took two weeks off with both our kids births. It was such a blessing. I was able to rest/sleep while he took care of the baby several times.

I had such a horrible experience with my glucose test...hubby had to work...I was there all by myself....hubby ended up having flowers delivered to the waiting room. Totally took my mind off of it and cheered me up. Plus it made everyone's day in the waiting room. So sweet!

I just had my glucoses test ( negative yay) Carlin looks so good with Dark hair! Also 2 weeks is honestly ideal if Evan can get off! some of my friends husbands get like 6 weeks or 12. I'm about to have my 4th and hubby has 3 weeks off

Some employers offer the dad a maternity leave up to 6 weeks which is really cool I think. Definitely take anytime you are able to take, you won't regret it or ever get that special time back. All dads should get that opportunity. I'm glad Michigan is sharing the love of snow with Tennessee 😂. So much fun for Layla. Every kid should experience snow. ❄ ❄ Your mom is so sweet. Spend all those special moments you can with her. My mom is fighting for her life in the hospital for almost 5 weeks now and I will always cherish those special times with her. 😥

New intro is great 😃 hey Evan, if you have one of those doorway pull up bars you can put a swing inside for Layla. Make sure it has the part that goes over the doorframe at the top. It might make a good "brother present", something from the new baby to her after he is born. Could be helpful for Carlin too when you go back to work, something to help occupy a minute when mom is nursing or something else for the baby.

So glad you passed your glucose test! That stuff has been vile since the stone age when i had my babies 🤣 Carlin with your mama talking "Patrick" during that test it took me back. Developed gestational diabetes w/4th baby, had to take insulin, in a wrestle over which of his names would be first i yielded to Patrick but as his dad's nickname was Pat, we promptly dubbed him Patch, Patchy, Patches. He was the sweetest baby & it fit him so well. Good luck with your name deciding! He'll be wonderful whatever his name is! Sending love, light & blessings!
