And I sure as hell wouldnt want to control the massaging configs or browsing my music catalog through the old dials and buttons systems.

Too many cheap screens, hate the capacitive BS buttons. Pre facelift W213 E-Class (2017 - 2021) was the best modern E-Class by far. Absolutely beautiful, great tech there too.

The W213 looked like a frumpy car - absolutely no presence at. This model is 🔥 The car comes standard with the 15 inch infotainment screen, not the superscreen, which is pointless for many drivers. The open pore maple with aluminum strips on the dash with matching console is superb. I know - I have exactly that.😉

How did that dashboard become the "luxury standard" in Mercedes cars!? Those screens and touch-sensitive controls don't say anything luxury/premium, maybe kitsch, or cheap. It just yells louder than other manufacturers that they are cutting costs aggressively.

More and larger screens don't mean luxury. For me the ultimate crime in modern Merc's is that guage screen sticking up from the dash without anything surrounding it. Looks like it belongs on a budget, city banger not a 70k plus "luxury" car.

Work for Mercedes again..sold two e53's a d have to show a e450 today..green! They won lots of awards.. great car. I think Mercedes is back with this. The s class is good, glc and new amg gt (granted a Gt not a sportscar like previous gen sadly)

I have a 2007 Mercedes E350 (w211) and it feels so much solid than these newer cars. Upgraded to car play, backup camera, and did tons of maintenance to give it a second life. Wouldn’t trade it for anything newer right now. Don’t get me wrong, would love a new one but not for the price.

If you don’t like the license plate at the bottom, it’s much worse covering the bottom portion of grill frame! Particularly if the vehicle has the grill lighting option. Or would you like it at an odd angle under one of the headlights covering a sensor? Seems like someone is really stretching to critique something. BTW, you can position the frame higher if you want to cover part of the grill. It works both ways.

I recently bought a 2025 GLE450. It’s a great car - great safety, the m256 I6 seems reliable at this point, amazing towing (7500 lbs), wonderful interior, quite a smooth drive, and the 3-row seating is awesome for short trips with extra family. I think it’s a class-leading product which hasn’t received enough accolades for what it is. (Also, price-wise in Canada, it’s not a bad price relative to the competition.)

Long day at work sitting behind your computer, phone and iPad screens? Car manufacturers say, "I gotchu!!! Here's some more of that garbage!!!" I've had an e55, C63, GLK and ML along with several BMWs and I can tell you I won't ever buy one that looks like this. I'd sooner get back behind the wheel of a W210 e55 or E34.

when it come to the looks, the 2016 was the last best E class, eveything was perfect, interior was a bit on the traditional side, came with diesel as an option, naturally aspirated,. Diamler spent around a billion euros for that mid phase refresh. the one generation before came with the 6.2 litre V8, developed by AMG themselves, but the 5.5 turbo was also great.

So went with a bmw x3m, more power and fun to drive. yeah didnt get my nappa seats but no big deal. And it was that verde green was on the fence, glad declined

I own this exact car, but with air suspension and acoustic comfort package. I’ve owned 2 in a row. Power is great (brake boosting is normally fine). The ride/nvh is let down by the run-flats.
