Could you do Kindred theme pleassseeeee? It's a bit like Jhin, but more delicate, gentle and still got that eerie vibes that reflect the champion really well (really almost every lol players love their theme). I would also recommend: Nilah, the joy unbound (heavily Indiann-influenced), Gwen, the hallowed seamstress; Viego, the Ruined King (the last 2 have heavy use of strings and you should react them back to back as they have "connection" musically wise, and it would be fun if you can find out what connection that is). FYI Pantheon's theme is structured around his own story, the story of a man, Atreus, unworthy of the Pantheon war aspect (kinda his tribe's gods that can incarnatre themselves in chosen ones) but who got chosen and possessed by need, fell against a monster that slayed the Pantheon aspect forever and the rise of Atreus refusing his destiny and rising as a man, forcing his dead god that denied him to give him power through his will to live. You've got the first part with singing representing Atreus lookig for his god, then the Epic without singing representing Pantheon only, a metal part representing the foe winning coupled with hopeless singing from Atreus seeing his god dying and him at the same time then a silence and the rise of both the Epic and the voice representing the Man dominating his own destiny

6:28 Yes, Piltover and Zaun are the closest to Earth-like in the different areas of Runeterra, as there's Noxus and Demacia, wich have a more medieval esthetic and culture, up north is the Freljord, which is ruled by viking-like tribes, and the Frost guard, which have their own special looks, south to Piltover and Zaun is Shurima, a vast desert which houses some of the oldest empires in Runeterra, and there's so much more, which i can't even imagine how they plan to include in Arcane, now that Arcane is canon

Fun fact you can hear in 4:17 Aatrox's theme kicking in. In the lore, this is where Aatrox slays Pantheon, but he is resurrected just as when all hope is lost. Which is the amazing pause in 4:55 where he returns to fight Aatrox.

I wouldn't say that. They've made a cool lore universe as well (although I wish they'd push the lore more), so cool in fact that my friends and I have been running a D&D campaign in it for years now. Their character design has also vastly improved from the older days (although it can still be patchy at times). They're able to consistently make champions that are interesting, memorable and detailed, and in cases where they've made characters that were flat and bland for the sake of monetisation (looking at you Seraphine) they've shown that they're capable of updating them to become something much better (like the LoR version of Seraphine). There's also Arcane, which I would call a lot more than just a 'cinematic': the fact that they were able to make such a phenomenal show working with Fortiche really goes to show the potential League has as a multimedia franchise. Then, there's Riot's willingness to experiment with different game genres: although LoR is dropping off a little these days, they've got other Runeterra-themed projects in the works including 2XKO, a top-down action game and, in the farther future, the big one, the Runeterra MMO. Don't let your perceptions of League specifically colour all of the good work that Riot has done. Balance and community issues for ONE GAME (albeit their biggest one) shouldn't be all that you take into consideration here.

​@@Stolanis even though i respect your opinion, you must be delusional if their character design has gotten any better. i personally think its gotten way worse and uninteresting, even tho they are trying so hard to make them different and interesting. and lore wise, probably just an item description in elden ring has more depth than what riot has been able to deliver in a year. squeezing in some little stupid fun facts to loading screens isn't building lore and a world. lastly among other games they've made, only valorant has somewhat has been able to build some community. and their mmo, which was the only promising game other than lol, if i heard correctly, lost multiple game directors and is currently on hold.

To see how far LoL's lore goes right now: -Pantheon is a man who ascended into a god that possessed and imprisoned him, only for the god to die at the blade of Aatrox. However, although it pierced enough to cease the god's life, it wasn't enough to defeat the man's sheer will, as for he has fallen countless times throughout his journey, he always stood up back. Now he seeks to confront the gods themselves who imprisoned him, as well as any threat who tried to kill him and his own kind, as the Unbreakable Spear of mankind. -Jhin is both a serial killer and a talented artist. Not much is known of his own personal life, as for he's more known for the paintings he left within his victims. So in a way, he's the Virtuoso he thinks he is. -Aatrox had it rough. Don't know if he became first a god or a general, but after becoming both he was corrupted by a certain war, and now he and other survivors of that fight became corrupted, sick of the immortality they had and the pain and horrors they have to endure for the rest of eternity; those were called the Darkin. Then, they tried to unleash oblivion on everything, which the non-corrupted gods liked at all, and one of them ended up sealing them into different weapons, only for them to come once more at the single touch of a fool's hand.

About aatrox. Bud just wanna die sadly he cant because of blood magic and the weapon (he is the sword) cant be destroyed easily. The same magic that they use to win the war against the void. But things started to fall off one by one after the war. They got PTSD, Lost their Emperor to a betrayal, and a certain someone in their ranks started controlling them which marks the great darkin war. Then a celestial sealed them on weapons using the moon so jump to present someone someone touched the greatsword of aatrox.

The music themes of : A man free from gods. A self indulgent madman. A wandering calamity. I would love to see more if these, Riotgames has an incredible music team. As for next i would say probably the themes of Poppy and Galio together, as they are mirrors of the same theme and a great way to show how melody and tone in music can be used to convey different feelings

I know that Aatrox's lore took a while to be properly fleshed out, but I would have REALLY liked it if his music captured even a little bit of the tragedy and despair of Aatrox's story. Yes, he's violent and massively destructive, but all of that is in service of a single purpose: *he wants to die.* His existence won't let him end his suffering and he hopes that destroying everything will finally let him rest in oblivion. That doesn't come across in his music, which is just scary and angry. Not to mention, he has friends and allies in his fellow Darkin, who he fights to protect from a threat arguably even greater than himself, so as the Darkin General he has a sense of honour, loyalty and nobility as well, however twisted. I'm not sure how you could show that in music, but if anyone can I'm sure the folks at Riot could pull it off.

as a person who knows very little about league of legends it was fun to learn about its music, pantheon theme was fun for how epic it was, jhin theme that featured both the violin and western style music was especially nice to listen to especially when it went full classical concerto, and the gamalan metal style of aatrox was a blast as a guy who still loves metal and loves to hear it combined with other styles skillfully, these were all great to hear and I look forward to future videos if you do more also thanks for being the cool dad/uncle we need more of those in this world!

One of my favourites is Volibear’s theme. Sounding like an epic Nordic saga (with a broken Icelandic dialect to give it that feeling of Scandinavian warrior’s ode) Interesting that you hear themes of despair in Aatrox’ theme. He’s certainly capable of inflicting it on his enemies, be it as a colossal giant as depicted in Legends of Runeterra or the Goliath-like proportions (really tall but still close enough to human height) as depicted in Still Here… but this despair is also his own. Corrupted by battlefield trauma against the Lovecraftian Void and abuse of Blood Magic he is trapped within his own blade. A prisoner with an I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream fate when he has no host to possess and mold into a fallen parody of his former splendour. He cannot die, merely lose his host and be trapped within his blade again. The noble general turned omnicidal maniac seeking the end of all things in the desperate hope that when all things stop, he may finally pass on.

I love how much pantheon's song is like a summary his entire backstory. The first act is Atreus' possession, with the vocals fading while the brass takes over, the second act is him helplessly watching the god using his body to fight demons, with the final act being him finally being freed. The brass is still there but the vocals take over representing that he is in control of the god's power now.

The TLDR on Pantheon, he was a man born on Mt Targon, who one day climbed the mountain after his home was brutalized by another of the groups living in, and decided to climb to seek the power of the gods. His friend died, but he reached the top, and the Aspect of War, effectively the god of war, decided that Atreus couldn’t wield his power, so instead of giving it to him, the aspect possessed his body. Years later, Pantheon battles Aatrox who’s seeking to kill the gods that imprisoned him in his weapon, and dies to Aatrox, but Aatrox couldn’t kill Atreus. The constellation of the god disappeared from the sky, and Pantheon died, but Atreus survived, and kept his powers. Aatrox assumed he would simply die on his own and left him to die, but Atreus’ will was so powerful he survived.

Bro played jhin's theme, read that exactly as one of jhin's murderous play acts, got a bit of wild west vibes (his original idea was a killer cowboy android) and proceeded to get a perfect read of the character. Like he said, "Elegant beauty surrounded by chaos and destruction". Riot used all their inspiration on jhin and will never replicate such perfection ever again, RIP good champion design

so pantheons lore is actually quite tragic but motivating as well pantheon is not the spartan like champion you see that ones name is atreus and pantheon is the aspect of war that possessed his body after picking up the spear and shield of targon the aspect then went on quest to kill darkins(fought aatrox the god slayer) who procceeded to impale atreus(the aspect of war pantheon) with the god slaying blade thus killing the aspect within atreus and seemingly him as well...but atreus survived and went to seek revenge on aatrox and all the aspects for stripping people of their free will for their selfish purposes and actually managed to use the weapons of the aspect killing aatrox( if u look a the whole splash art behind pantheon is aatrox's head)

So random little fun lore bit. Some champions are humans who are "possessed" by so called aspects (basically gods of different things) Leona, Diana for sun and moon and so on. Pantheon, the aspect of war, is also one of these gods and possesses the human Atreus. In the lore there is a moment when Pantheon is actually killed by Aatrox. With Pantheon gone.. Atreus re-awoke within his own body regaining full control. Impaled with a giant blade and on the verge of death, he kept fighting, and even won in the end. The god within him died, but the man lived. Super epic story line and I wish they would FULLY embrace it by renaming the champion Atreus in game as well. (Its not like the name Atreus isn't cool either :D )

What I get from Jhin's theme is a story of one of his masterpieces (massacres) being committed. The first section is Jhin readying his paintbrush (gun). The second section is the murder, with the gun firing off. Each shot a stoke of genius. Then, the aftermath; the authorities and/or survivors gazing upon the gruesome remains. The last section is that small part of the witness's mind; the horrifying thought that the carnage left behind is indeed beautiful. For Jhin, you don't have to like it, but you will get it.

Wonderful reaction, Jhin's theme is one of my personal favorites as well. It blends his themes of art and brutality so well while making a beautiful piece. If you want to look at more Champion Themes then I highly recommend Kindred's!

Dark Fact About Jhin: A psychopathic "artist" who sees death as an art, obsessively focused on his art and the number 4. The number 4 in his skills comes in the form of a grenade bouncing off 4 enemies, his long shot causing a passive mark on the enemy for 4 seconds, and 4 powerful bullets when using ultimate. The number 4 in Japanese culture means Death. Also you should hear Aatrox's voice lines, chills guaranteed.

I just LOVE Jhin´s theme. It just tells me to slowly do poses and do a final pose for a perfect art (in Jhin´s case it would be my death) and it draw me in by just hearing it. I am just speechlest and I enjoy every second of it even when I am ussually a metal fan (exept for moonlight sonata). Aatrox is just despair and anger and you got shivers from it sometimes. Pantheon.. well, theme is nice and high like for the gods (who knows knows) even when its not fitting for Pantheon in my oppinion. Fiddlesticks, Tahms Kench and Nocturne themes next?

Pantheon Theme is a saga being told. - The first part sounds heroic, holy even. Pantheon was the Aspect of War, unlike other Aspects that lend the power to their mortal, for the Pantheon the body is a shell for the God himself. - The second part is a silence, then militaristic and hopeful. The fight happened between the Pantheon and the Aatrox, the demon stabs the God with his ruinous blade so hard that the God himself basically died and never returned to the constellation. Then, the mortal, the owner of the body is awakened as his mortal's will power taking control over the fractured power of Pantheon. - The final part, rip the holy part out and add more militaristic aspect to it. Atreus the mortal, fought the God Killer using only Pantheon's spear, shield, and mere will power. The fight was brutal, Atreus received many mortal wounds but eventually win against the God Killer, destroy its body back to the blade. Now an Aspect without a God, Atreus himself, slowly ascending to become a new constellation God.

I know people realize Riot is pretty good at making champions but i don't think everybody truly realizes how good every single aspect of the character is. Take just this song for example, it basically tells the story of the character without the need for a bio. Atreus is that one guy who absolutely never gives up no matter what, he's always pushing forward. To make a relation to his story about being defeated yet persisting, the song starts slow and steady, like the iron will of a soldier who's disciplined but cannot see past what was taught to him. The middle of the song starts with a slowed down tune that means him realizing it wasn't enough. Then it goes to a rough "creepy" war sound that means his downfall, when he got felled by Aatrox as Pantheon for example. The final part of the song starts with a triumphant entry that shows his resolve will never falter regardless of how many times he's defeated. Riot could honestly dominate the gaming industry if they branched off and made more games and movies. They have unmatched talent in both departments.

It's a interesting point that Jhin is a so complexed Champion, most in his Story background than his game style and Riot above all the mistakes, Jhin is a creation what cannot be mensurated and They (Riot Games) wanted to express that in his own Theme. Pantheon himself isn't actually the champion we play as he's the aspect of war that possessed the body of a mortal he deemed unworthy of his power. That mortal is named atreus (the actual champion we play as) the way he got possessed is by climbing a mountain to its peak that would prove (if you survive) you worthy to get the power of a celestial being. Atreus after being forcefully taken control by pantheon couldn't do anything. Up until aatrox stabbed the body of atreus so hard it killed the aspect of war DIED and yet atreus survived through his own will and regained his humanity and decided to always doubt the very gods that took advantage of him and became some sort of protector. Tldr: pantheon is the personification of his own making of "the indomitable human will" wrapped into a manly muscular beauty
