Starting My Pediatrics Rotation in Medical School | 3rd Year Medical School Student VLOG

In medical school, the last two years are called clinical years. So starting 3rd and 4th year, medical school students start their rotations in hospitals and clinics affiliated with their school. In this video, I vlog about the start of one of that rotation--Pediatric Rotation.

Hi! My name is Kat, I was in a RN BSN program, but was removed due to an event related to family events. I'm going to be enrolling into a LVN program (which is the only solution for me at this time), and hopefully I'll be back at it to get my RN BSN as planned (and maybe my masters for my NP license). Although, your discipline of medicine is a lot different than nurses, your videos have helped me get out of my slow climb of mild depression due to being out of school. They are so encouraging and just straight up fun to watch! As for interesting facts...I have a passion for the elderly, and I've been volunteering in nursing homes for years (since I was 13). Up until November of 2015, I actually had a 103 year old pen pal! She was truly amazing, and I actually took one of her letters with me to my MCAT for good luck, and it definitely helped me do well! Hey! Congratulations on 40k!! I really enjoy your videos! Although I'm not going into med school, your videos really motivate me to do well in school. I'm currently a pre nursing student in Hawaii (hoping to hear from the nursing school by the first week of November! Eee!). Eventually I really want to get my doctorate of nursing practice specializing in geriatrics. I'm from Oahu, Hawaii and one interesting fact about me is...I was a caregiver for my grandma (who suffered from Alzheimer's) for two years (until she passed last year in May 2015). She is the main reason why I'm so motivated to get off my butt and work toward a degree that will help patients like her. I'm from Sydney, Australia. Im a 3rd year pharmacy student. Since watching your videos I have realised how important it is to exercise as you can't study all the time. I have joined the gym it has made a big difference, I am more energetic and I am less stressed. An interesting fact about me is i LOVE tea. I have a draw full of different blends. At school I always carry spare tea bags and a travel cup with me so i can have a cup of tea. :) Congrats on the 40,000 subs!!

Hey! I'm from St.Paul, MN and I just found your channel, and I love it! I was in school for nursing (pre - NP track) and I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease and put on immunosuppressants. I decided I needed to take care of myself and find a less taxing job for the sake of my health.
