Walking in Tuguegarao City at Noon | Cagayan Philippines | 2022

It is HOT! I only lasted less than 20 mins, but I enjoyed walking around the city though. Tuguegarao City is one of the hottest cities in the Philippines, literally. The highest temperature ever recorded in the Philippines-42.2 °C (108.0 °F)-hit Tuguegarao on May 11, 1969.

Tuguegarao derived its name from the Ibanag sentence “Tuggui gare yaw” meaning, "This used to be fire" as it is believed that the place was once carved out of the wilderness of fire. Annually, the city holds Tuguegarao Patronal Fiesta Celebration held on August 16 through the Afi Festival or the Dance of a Thousand Torches. Afi is another Ibanag word for "fire."
Tuguegarao City is the Capital of the Province of Cagayan and the Regional Center of Cagayan Valley. It has earned the distinction of being the Center of Excellence for Higher Education, Science, and Medicine in Region 02.

Di po nawawala sa top 5 hottest ang Tuguegarao along with Dagupan, Cavite, and Cabanatuan.May be slightly lower temprerature lang po pag January.

dry and cold siberian winds pag January to March, oftentime as low as 16deg Centigrade..... lalu na yung malamig tapos super clear ang skies na walang ka ulap ulap.
