I arrived at this channel for some no BS MTB content with a very genuine style. Never really been into modding cars but the fact you are using the internet for what it was designed for, basically sharing research and how too do things, and the satisfaction of seeing the tray fitted made this a great video. More mtb stuff soon I hope but the car stuff is also cool. 👌

I recently sold a MKVI Golf after I plugged a scantool into it and learned the truth of the saying "Don't ask questions that you don't want to hear the answer to." However, for the prior two years it was one of the most fun little go-karts that I've ever had... and I've had a string of JDM import turbo cars. 2009 was the year that the 118TSI engine came out, 1.4 litres but twin-charged (supercharger AND turbocharger) and direct fuel injection. With 22 pounds of boost from as low as 1500rpm all the way to redline, coupled with the 7spd DSG transmission it was a little weapon. "Only" 160hp but the fattest torque curve In the world .

I wish I still owned my 1984 VW GTI I bought in 1985 when I got out of Army basic training. Loved that car

Damn your race car sounded good in that intro clip! I feel like an idiot for not realizing the rabbit was a 5 cylinder until now, never paid it much attention but that makes it so much cooler! Basically a non turbo RS3 😂

I was super surprised that the GoPro caught the sound as well as it did when I watched the clip the first time haha. Immediately was like: whoa usually these things don’t work out this well for me

The mk5 rabbit is one of my favorites. Keep up the car content. Build a roof bike mount for the rabbit would be perfect crossover. Im a vw guy. Mk3 are my drug of choice

Agreed. More of car stuff and car stuff related to bikes like a rack build.

I always have wondered why cars are designed like there's no rain, no leaves, no cold. Or maybe it's economically not viable to develop such vehicles.

Thank you for reminding me that the VW Golf was sold as Rabbit in NA, it’s a “wow” moment every time!

Had an 07 manual rabbit for 10 years! 44k to 160k miles. Kept it completely stock, save for sticky summer tires and wheels, and “exhaust”. Autocrossed it hard for most of those years and it was a blast. I always looked at the dogbone mount mod and wondered if it really truly did anything. Wish I would’ve spent the 30 bucks or so to do it now!

I had the same MKV Rabbit in the same color. It was a good car and had it for 10 years.

Using tools that close to windshield without something covering it.... I can hear my dad's voice now.... WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?? I should have left you at the orphanage! Sorry childhood trauma coming through.... I still don't know how to hold a flashlight proper😅😅😅
