Baylen will definitely go down as one of the best villains in Star Wars history, such good motivation! Also that possible arc for Ahsoka to resist the urge to prevent Anakin from turning, that would be so perfect! i really hope they do this in the show.

I would love for Baylan's reason to need the WBW for a noble reason, to himself but catastrophic for the galaxy, I would fit his demeanor of not wanting to kill Ahsoka but has to. I don't want him to be a two dimensional villain or a villain at all, but a nuanced antagonist, like Thrawn that sees a bigger picture and has to do certain "activities" to accomplish their crusade.

Has anyone taken the Star map and the layout of the world between worlds and overlaid them and seen if two of the points that Sabine moved correspond to the layout of the Lothal terminal that Ezra accessed, that he pulled Ashoka from and then what else we saw in there as what Balin intends to manipulate?

Its hard to tell if Baylon wants to stay dark or not. If he wants to say, save Mace from his fall, that might possibly occur because we hear maces voice in the rise of Skywalker. It's a giant hyperspace jumping platform or in this case a ring we see a smaller version of it in attack of the clones. Obi uses one to jump to kamino when he's searching for the lost planet. The eye of sion is the same concept just on a grand scale just obviously for jumping galaxies

Imagine the end of the Ashoka show is Ahsoka saving anakin. But when she returns to her time there is a flashpoint paradox type event maybe something like the yuhzan vong or thrawn having taken over the galaxy. A kind of galactic wide threat. The season ends with her realizing the time line has changed This leads into the movie where they have to try and set things right by using the world between worlds. This would allow Dave to introduce the vong or some big threat for one movie, and then set the timeline back so it doesn’t change canon

Seems highly speculative. It could be just as likely that Baylan desires to rebuild the Jedi Order as a ruling entity in a reformed Empire, especially when he laments about having to kill Ahsoka because there are "so few Jedi left." I could see Baylan trying to justify a new Jedi Order acting as an oligarchy, directing the affairs of the galaxy and imposing its will for the sake of peace. One thing that these shows set in the New Republic Era have established very clearly is that the New Republic is woefully inadequate in its ability to govern, and that the bureaucratic bloat and complacency of its leaders are what allowed the First Order to rise. The reign of the Empire demonstrated the need for stronger leadership, and Baylan could see himself as the man to do it, all while training new Jedi to think the way that he does as part of a new Order. With the focus being the mythical path to a new galaxy, it would seem strange then that the ultimate destination is somewhere else entirely.

I think Baylan is looking to play both sides. He doesn't need the World Between Worlds for unimaginable power - he just needs Thrawn. Once he has proof of life, capturing/freeing Thrawn becomes a priority for each side. Baylan wouldn't even need to name a price, just let them outbid each other with bigger and bigger offers

The sequel triology is erased at this point in the time line. Grogu (due to Ashoka) was Luke’s first student not Ben. If Ashoka returns and dies, then Ben would allowed to be Luke’s first apprentice restoring the sequels.

Luke was made into a meme, Leia was made into Mary Poppins, and Han was killed off for what? And for what reason? Because Abrams wanted to make merchandise sales off the sequels, but had to with original content - but he’s incapable of doing that.

I think Baylan will be redeemed in the end. The World Between Worlds will save Star Wars, someone will change something so that the sequels, which destroyed Star Wars old foundation characters, is changed or "retconned", so that the demise of people like Luke and Han Solo never happened, people like Kylo and Ray are totally different etc. If we continue on the sequels timeline Star Wars is done for, look at the ratings for a great show like Ahsoka and the third season of the Mandalorian, fans are just checking out.

I think your analysis is in the right direction. There are more than a few unclear points that may be explained or cleared in future episodes. You may be right about Baylin wanting to save the Jedi Order, but we saw twice how Ezra went down paths that he thought would do the Rebellion or the Ghost crew good without fully realizing the potential consequences. Trying to save Kanan was one of them. The other was going to Tatooine to find, warn, and recruit Obi-Wan. And speaking of Ezra, he's a huge piece to the puzzle here. Thrawn wasn't Force-sensitive. But Ezra was. Could Ezra be helping Thrawn contact Morgan? If so, not willingly, but that leaves the question why? When I heard about Ahsoka and the general premise of Ahsoka and Sabine going to find Ezra, I was of the opinion that they would find him, but also find a clue or reference to Exegol. They would go to investigate, but get captured by the First Order and then killed. That would explain Rey hearing Ahsoka's voice in The Rise of Skywalker. Now granted, things are turning more mysterious, with the introduction of possibly traveling to a new galaxy, but I still think the ending I just posted is going to happen. It'll be a sad one, but it'll tie up Ahsoka's, Ezra's, and the Ghost crew's story quite nicely.
