I think Filoni is retying Legends back to Canon. Thrawn is one example. Zeffo are another example. The Dark Saber? Legend turned Canon. Literally, he is pulling Legends back and telling Disney, "No. These are real."

I believe it was indeed "Raise" opposed to "Praise". After Kujet's death he was entombed on Dathomir. After this the Zeffo presumably left the Star Wars galaxy. I assume they found their way to Peridia, meeting the Great Mothers. These mothers have many powers, one being resurrection/reanimation of the dead. This may be why the inscription mentions raising Kujet.

Yeah Kujet seems like the most likely given all ‘the writings on the wall’ but I do wonder if it’ll turn out that Kujet was a Zeffo Son of Mortis avatar. Still pulling for Aboleth but that would be a huge leap from where live action is now and we just got Thrawn back plus Zeffo confirmed.

@@yugiohpacker The Ones or the Gods of Mortis had a woman servant who cared for them and kept the daughter and son in check to help the father. The only tbing was that the mother was mortal and so when she got to a fraile age she went behind the father back and bathed in both the son and the daughters force nexus which in turn cured her aging but since she isnt a god she became twisted and rose as the being known as Abeloth.

The Zeffo actually kinda remind me of a species in Legends called the Qua which went around the galaxy teaching other species about the force eventually they devolved into a horse like species called the Qui I think. I thought they were very interesting too.

7:46 Keep in mind, the Nightsisters don't really worship or use the Dark Side, that's what seperates them from the Sith. They're not afraid to search all aspects of the Force, but the Dark Side is a corruption of the force, so that's not what they're about. That's a Sith thing. So, the Ancient Sith viewed the Zeffo as gods? Or are the Zeffo just so naturally connected to the Force (like Yoda's species and a few others) that the idea of one of them being closer to the Dark was enticing? Also, the Dathomiri aren't masters of the Dark Side, so why would they praise Kujet? They worshipped the Son and the Daughter, they too believed in the balance, but the Dark Side is a corruption of the force, (and the Son isn't a master of the Dark Side either, he just later fell to it) so I wonder if he was there before the Dathomiri Witches and Brothers arrived. They worshipped him as a powerful force user maybe, but they already had their primary gods.

I wonder if we’ll get to see Cal and Merrin make an appearance during ahsoka either in this season or the next season, both are alive at the end of Jedi survivor so theoretically they are still alive here and could make an appearance, especially since Merrin is a night sister and Cal knows a lot about the zeffo thanks to master Cordova. It would be a cool way of introducing them to current events in the live action shows

I think the Zeffo are FROM peridea, and were thinking of the nightsisters the wrong way around. They are from darthomir, and they rode the purrgil TO Peridea. think about it, if the Night Sisters learned to ride the Whales, and the whales DIE at the end of the Route how does that work? (personally i think something is killing the Purrgil)

I think they moved to Peridia after Kujet's death. They most likely wish to raise Kujet from death (as mentioned on the inscription) using the powers of the Great Mothers. I also found it interesting that the raiders on Peridia had helmets shaped like the Zeffo.

This is really interesting. Maybe Kujet gathered some followers on Dathomire and indeed ruled on Peridia. I understand why everyone wants to escape. I don't think they will escape. I agree. It's possible Kujet's followers established cults that lead to Nightsisters and to the Sith. The beggining. I don't think Baylan is listening to him. It's someone else. We'll see who. This is all so fascinating. It's been a while, since that's been a strong theme in The SWU and SW live-action content, overall. It seems like parts (or maybe even all) of Peridea are being haunted or "influenced" by an unseen, unknown force (or a malevolent power in The Force), that only a small group of individuals can sense, esp. Baylan, which is mysterious...why him? I wonder if Ahsoka will sense anything ALIEN about the energy coming off of Peridea, once she enters its system? A planetary ring of DEAD space whales is already a sobering feature of this planet. We've never seen it in The SWU before...

In Star Wars Survivor: Jedi master Cordova mentioned that are some remnants of the Zeffo species in the unknown region of the main Star Wars galaxy, since Star Wars jedi trilogy has been green lit for a third and final game, perhaps the storyline will focus finding the remaining Zeffo and the game will end on a massive cliffhanger that signifies the return Kujet. In which lead into this new Star Wars movie under Dave.

It wasnt only in the temple with thrawn, it was also in the very 1st episode when ahsoka finds the map the inside and where the map was found, the puzzle she had to solve to get the map all the way down to the layout of the room etc is very reminiscent of fallen order and the zeffo temples.......

In the both of the new Thrawn trilogies it seems theyre being set up as the new yuuzhan vong. So couldnt it be that this is the galaxy that the grysk are coming from? That they've used most of this new galaxies resources? Hence why Thrawn and last remaining nightsisters want to leave.

As I stated before, the Zeffo had a history on Peridia and the Night Sisters with the Zeffo; on Peridia and Dathomir. However, the Sith also have a history on Peridia, but without a connection to the Night Sisters or Zeffo. As they went on to Pesegam (Moraband and Korriban). Long before the mixing of Sith with other species. My theory lies more towards this being a nexus of sort within the force, one of beginning or perhaps choice; especially to those with a certain ambition or mission, but not necessarily an ambition of absolute power and control. Think more COSMIC FORCE... and less Living Force. Which may be difficult for some to wrap in their mind. The Night Sisters likely flee it, because they do not have ambition nor do they respect it as they should. They may even see it as more ancient Jedi in nature, than in Dark Side. One of balance, which they certainly would not condone. It may even consider the Night Sisters as having corrupted the force. Mixing in other things, as did ancient Sith Alchemists. I won't go on further with my conclusions, since there are 3 I've come up with which take too long to go through. Also, what I figure is the most likely is also the most boring and leaves us wanting. I could say a 4th theory, but it's too crazy, yet it's really good for Sabine.

hey ... why does the dead Kujet look an awful lot like Snoke ? Besides snoke also being way bigger then a human? I always wonderd why a failed palpatine clone would be almost twice the size. But if you trown Kujet into the mix ..... What if Kujet tomb on Peridia IS what's needed to clone Palpatine; is also what's calling Baylan; is also why Ezra is trying to keep everybody stranded on Peridia even tough he could have left with the purgils...with Snoke as a failed cloning experiment; this means Trawn's return with the nightsisters (and possibly future exegol necromancers) sets the stage for the rise of palpatine ... and actually ties everything nicely together. All we need is for Baylan, Shin, Ahsoka, Sabine and Ezra to either stay on Peridia or die; because they don't appear later in the story.
