Chinos became my go-to pants years ago because they are more comfortable and versatile than jeans in all types of weather. I pair them with loafers, minimalist sneakers, boat shoes, and desert boots.

The look books on this channel have done me SO RIGHT over the years. The look book window at 1:53; light gray chino's, untucked light blue shirt, sand colored chelsea's -- what a clever mix. Great video. This is what I've been saying. NOTE: I have less options, since I have fit problems (13A) I wear the now discontinued Allen Edmunds' Dalton Wingtip Blucher dress boots with chinos. I have 3 pair chili calfskin, chili cordovan, and brown cordovan. I would never wear these with my more formal dark navy, charcoal, and black business suits, but they work well with chinos and odd dress trousers in earth tones.

Minimal sneakers aren't comfortable. It's definitely my age but there isn't enough padding to wear all day to walk around in. Athletic shoes are comfortable but not stylish so it's tough
