Something I didn't quite notice until the 4 gauge is that the Ogryn's reload speed buff isn't just a sped up animation, it's a KF2-stlye unique quickload animation, that (like the revolver reload from launch) is such a sweet little touch on top of this fucking 3 layer cake they've been god damn backing. Holy shit this update was worth the wait.

Wait the kickback is 4 gauge, im pretty sure he just shooting grapeshot for a canon he wielded a stock to it, check out the ks23, its a 4 gauge Russian shotgun that shoots alot of crazy rounds

​@@elgringofeo9348The Kickback is way too big to be only 4 gauge. The fact it looks like an M79 leads me to believe it's at least 40mm (1 gauge) but, considering the Kickback is also Ogryn sized, I think it's a much bigger bore than that.

tbh I like the idea of the ogryn grenade just being a normal frag ut *CHONK* besides its not exactly just a scaled up version. I believe the normal human frag is more cylindrical in shape rather than the pineapple.

One of the cool things added was the additional voice lines. My Zealot had an EXTREME heart to heart with a Psyker, saying she's never going to be worthy of redemption because of a mistake she made. While the Psyker had been an enforcer, she took the lex into her own hands and fucked up hard and has horrid memories of the burning.

When I last played played darktide, the loading times were an absolute buzzkill. If they've improved considerably, then I'll start playing again. I also remember one game where a lone mutant was the reason nobody could be revived, causing us to lose. I ragequit after that.

The in game Ogryn actually has a micro chip implant in his brain, canonically making him the smartest Ogryn in 40k So if anything, the lack of limiter makes sense for the ogryn player specifically.

keep in mind this is the background for the "Brawler" Personality of Ogryns, Bodyguard and Bully aren't Bone 'Eads. Bodyguard WANTS a bonehead upgrade, while Bully to quote is "Smart enough as is" speaking of brawlers implant, it's actually malfunctioning, he and his allies will constantly comment on how it might need fixing.
