I was there and vlogged part of that fire alarm katsu moment. I had to go down around 5 or more flight of stairs in very tall thin heels. I'll never forget that year lol

Interesting stories. 1st one I can only feel pain, honestly hard for me to believe that those two girls could stay in there for several minutes doing tick tocking instead of going to the convention they were attending, I suppose if there were young though they probably didn't pay for it. Also so sad to hear them mocking other people's costumes, such an immature and insecure thing to do. We do cosplay to celebrate and express our love for what we represent with the costume, it's really not that deep and does sadden me how many people have notions of thinking you have to be a certain body type or person to play a character, or that you have to put in a threshold of effort for it to be a good cosplay, even though conventions are already super expensive and people want to be part of it without wrecking their wallets. again though, if they truly were still in school it'd be easy to see how they have such a bad attitude... oh that was a long rant. Well the more important this is that the story teller was okay and better than she expected so we can cheer that as a W :3 2nd story is crazy. Who knows what really happened. I feel like there probably had to have been some issue, since they evacuated the hotel first and then the con center. I would hope they confirmed some sort of danger to justify pushing out people to the cold, but there have been worse EMA decisions i'm sure. But either way sounds like a basic night mare scenario for any con, cold weather isn't anything to mess with. 3rd story is wholesome, a good one to end on too. I'm sure it was very nice to use that extra money a few more luxuries than expected, or perhaps to pocket and save for the future. Either way always nice to have a wholesome story :D
