I'm so glad other people are calling him out because I almost punched this guy in the face. Me and my 13 year old sister (im 17) were cosplaying fem south park at AMKE and he came up from behind and hugged us both w/o permission. Then he kept complementing my sisters looks and even asked her for a kiss and that's when I got in between and told him to get lost. He said he was just joking and wouldn't leave. By then he kept calling my sister beautiful and wouldn't leave. I was about to ask my friends to get help but he just ended up walking away. We had a few more run ins with him and he was just fixated on my sister. Now, my sister is really pretty and defiantly looks older for her age, but still obviously under age. Honesty I was really scared and I did not want this man next to my sister.

My ex-gf use to attract these types of social rejects all the time with very similar behavior touching, invading personal space, asking weird/personal questions, etc. The only remedy is you have to be outright rude even if it's against your nature which sounds like the case for your gf. These kind of guys smell the type of girl who will "tolerate" their inappropriate behavior I'm glad you didn't but my suggestion for you next time is to step it up a notch and straight up tell the guy to piss off or your gonna get him booted for sexual harassment. Don't bother with politeness or fear of making it more awkward if you tell him off, because these guys certainly don't care about being descent and it's not you or your gf's job to make sure their feelings aren't hurt.

Holy shit I'm fucking screaming!!!! While I'm listening to your video, all I can think was "It's probably the guy how was cosplaying Pinocchio"and sure as shit it was!!! Like he came up to the maid café on Friday while I was working and was being an absolute creep to all of the maids because apparently one of his friends was working and he was waiting for them. He was so fucking creepy and he was making me and all of the other maids so uncomfortable, we wanted him to leave.

I remember him. He tried to hug me because of my Cosplay characters several times, along with my cousin who went with me, she denied him of course. He also took my hand when I was going up an escalator and keep saying scary things to creep me out the whole time, I was super worried that he wouldn't leave but luckily he did later, I also noticed that he would sneak into pictures with girl cosplayers just to get a hug, I was super afraid of him the whole time, especially when I was working in the maid cafe and he came up there at that time too. It really ruins the convention excitement when things like this happen

This guy was a creep throughout the con and I ran into him on Saturday morning. I was waiting for my friend and passing the time when he came up and ask me for a hug. Then that 'hug' turned into a couple of weird hugs that you wouldn't expect from a first meeting (as if trying to get comfortable when hugging). I thought that, perhaps it's because I'm really short and he might not want to offend me so I let him. My thoughts changed when he started to pick me up off the ground. While he picked me up, he told me to wrap my legs around him; to give him a 'Koala' hug. That part made me felt really bitter and I fully labeld him as a creep and told him repeatedly 'no' when he questioned about me giving him a koala hug some more. My mood fell down that I went back to my room where I actually felt more safe than out there being alone. Later on, my friend was with me now and from the corner of my eyes, I see that guy asking others to take photos of him and the cosplayers, and then giving them hugs similar to my experience (aside from being picked up). It was just really unpleasant looking at that guy after all of that.

This guys was seriously gross, he kept giving me hugs everytime he saw me and it was weird how he did it, like you said and each time hed hold me longer until I just couldnt take it. And then he had to go amd ask for my picture /everytime/ he saw me. Even told a buddy of his to hug me and I was just super uncomfortable about the whole thing. I let it go at the time because I thought maybe I was over reacting but now that I know, i think I made the right choice to avoid him. Ive heard plenty of storkes from other friends now too. The worst part is he tried finding me after the con through facebook. Blocked him so fast. Sorry to hear that others had to deal with this too, someone should definitely contact the convention staff.

Yeah, I remember this dude. I was with my (now ex) Girlfriend, and he out of nowhere just got close to her coming for a hug along with touching her wig. Then I came by and he stepped back and was all like "Oh Hello!". Although he's a cousin of one of my friends. He comes from Columbia so he may not know about con etiquete but either way... why would anyone act like that? Like thats not an excuse.

it's not hard to find him since he posted up his share of the photos he took on the Anime Milwaukee FB Group. Also, I don't want to link his FB directly for people to attack him. It's better that he have someone tell him that even with or without consent, what he did made lots of people upset. I've noticed a big splash of people who encountered him and people who are upset that this had happened to someone they knew. Lot of the pictures that he took are him with forms of touching or getting really close to other people, especially to the female cosplayers.

I was at a con a few years ago age 14 and cosplaying as Sailor Moon with a few friends when this guy kept following us. He would ask for some pictures and hugs(which we all refused politely) and once he got in a picture with my friend(cosplaying Sailor Uranus) and grabbed her butt then took the picture and left. But after that we saw him doing the same thing other female cosplayers. These type of guys need to knock it off and try to be more of the nice guy who gets a picture and leaves, and doesn't touch you. I mean sure hugs aren't bad but when your in a miniskirt and your don't know the person its a bit awkward.

I was at a con once. I was waiting in line for the Cosplay Contest, and in front of me, there was this Jinx cosplayer from League of Legends. (to all the peeps that don't know, she was wearing mini shorts and bra/bikini top thingy) Suddenly a guy appeared and said to her "Hi, your cosplay is amazing! Can I take a picture?" and she giggled and said "Sure, thank you!" The guy took the picture and said "Can I get a hug?" and the cosplayer said "I wish I could give you a hug, but there is so much skin showing in my cosplay so it would be kinda uncomfortable for me... Sorry!" the guy said "Oh, I understand, but thank you for the picture! Such a lovely cosplay!" and walked away. Few minutes after he walked past by us again and he creeped behind the cosplayer and started touching her wig. He said "You also have great boobies for Jinx..." and laughed very creepily. The Jinx cosplayer was scared and it was easy to see. Her friend said "Excuse me, but that's a bit inappropriate." She was cosplaying as Madoka Kaname in her magical girl outfit. The guy winked at her and touched her waist and came closer to her. "You're a pretty world protector. Like a goddess..." he said and kinda hugged her. It was a very creepy and weird hug. She pushed him away and said "I'll call con security if you don't leave. You can not do that to strangers!" the guy laughed and said "Sorry!" then he sniffed her wig and touched her bow prop and ran away. It was super creepy...

I've only ever had adorable experiences with people. I await for the time that a nasty old guy tries to tug at my wig or touch my cheek. I kid you not, I will report any bastard that harms my fellow cosplayers. Apart from bad stories, have fun at conventions. I know the Renaissance festival isn't a con but I was cosplaying link, and this older dark link was so kind to me and I got some badass photos with him. Then another link came up to me and he was the funniest thing I've ever seen. He made a joke about how him and Malon got it on and created me (I was twilight princess link, he was ocarina of time link) he helped me out a lot and I seriously regret not getting his number ;_; LINK WHERE EVER YOU ARE. Only con I go to is London MCM 2x a year, but this kinda thing happens to lots of people who go there, myself included. I think my worst personal experience was where I was cosplaying Syndra and these 2 guys asked me for a photo of me hugging one of them and his friend would take a picture of us, me thinking no problem it's just a hug, so I did. A couple of girls came up to me right after the picture and told me that the guy who hugged me had taken a sneaked picture of up my skirt... At which point my boyfriend who was next to me had heard this, storms up to the guy who was at the time asking another girl with a skirt for a photo and grabs his arm. He made the guy show his photos and it turns out that they were all upskirt pictures... My boyfriend forced him to delete all of them and threatened to get him banned if he did it again. Gotta say, it's times like these I'm glad to have an over protective boyfriend who looks like a bear xD

I saw this guy too. My friend and I were waiting in line for a panel and there were 2 girls in front of us (one of which was Asian) talking when he cut in front of us and started asking her weird questions. He asked for a hug and her number at least 5 times despite being told no each time. Luckily her friend tried to block him from getting to her and all 3 of us comforted her after he left (both girls were really nice!) I feel so bad for her! No one should EVER be treated that way.

However, I do remember him posting a big long post about a week after the con apologizing for his behavior explaining that it was his first con and that wasn't really familiar with con etiquette.

U.N. Owen the Sandvich I'm fairly attuned to these types of people, it's not just anime conventions, these types of social rejects are masterminds of their own game. They are really good at playing naive and the, ''I didn't know any better" card. From what I'm understanding this man has been to multiple cons. It's very skeevy and manipulative to be acting like a know-nothing-newbie to justify harassing people out of an 'accident'. People like that are very aware of what is appropriate and what is not, they play on people's tolerance, forgiveness and initial shock that they won't do anything to penalize them. They know most people are too afraid or slow to report, and they often know to flee the scene to not be spotted by security or staff. That's why they get away with it. The best course of action is to report right away, and report in numbers.

What a creepy and scary story it sounds! I'll probably never look or watch Pinocchio the same way again now...-_- I mean, I am shy and can be quite when approaching or being surrounded by different people or those whom I don't know but it takes time before I open up and when I do, the thing I mostly say is "I like your Cosplay." It's what happened when I went to my first con last year in the fall and I managed to make three new friends there. But in no way would I ever ask such questions or bring up such topics.

Obviously I didn't let him and went to find staff, and apparently he was doing it to multiple people but he kept going and hiding when someone went to get a staff member.

Okay, so I was here, I was cosplaying as a Homestuck with my cousin. It was our first convention ever, we went Saturday, and honestly, this was my favorite con. Except this man. I made a friend, and they happen to be asian, k? This guy comes up to her. I sort of watch and am like "oh, hey, person. That's cool." And then he does the thing. He asks "what kind of asian are you?" Immediately I start paying attention, because asking that is sorta rude. But then, he asks for a hug and does the weird hug-thing so I, being the overprotective little bitch of a person I am, slapped his face because I saw someone, HIM, do it earlier. Later, he found us again and started feeling her hair and so once again, I slapped him so hard that he was knocked back a bit, but he backed off. We were both scared, but we managed to get to an awesome group thing to brush it off, but we made sure to warn those people there too. OHMYGOSH I HATE PEOPLE LIKE THAT People are here to have a good time. If you want to violate them, get the fuck out and do that on the internet on some r34 site because No One Wants That At A Fucking Convention. If he's there next year, I will attack him. Staff included into this, this isn't acceptable.

I had this happen to me before but not at a convention. I was at a cosplay competition meet in a book store ( cause I had nothing to do that day and I needed something to do ). So I get there and meet some people in cosplay and finish the competition and a obviously older man comes up to me and talks to me about how well I suit the character and how cool I look. I say Thank you and at first I think he's a cool guy but he starts to get a little weird. He asks my name and I give him my name and starts to tell me that's a cute name, bla bla bla. And then this made me extremely uncomfortable, he touches my cheek for no reason?! I just back away trying not to seem rude or start a scene since thus isn't a very big event, and it's a pretty small building. So I try to start up a lie saying I need to go and he keeps interrupting me saying "oh, but I'm a lonely I need someone to talk to..." so I tell him I'm only 15 and my parents are picking me up soon but he just keeps bringing up the same excuse for me not to leave. FINALLY a friend comes up to me and saves me from the the man.

The reason why I didn't say anything to his face is because he wasn't harming us in any way and so I didn't really have the need to verbally hurt him. The way he approached us was a bit creepy. And I say "all three days" because he was actually was looking for us, he said it himself during the con. But of course I knew it wasn't in any bad way, it was just that he was a bit clinging. And also, please take into notice that I didn't say I hated him or anything, I just simply said that he was also a creeper to my friends and I but we still had a better experience with him than what the youtuber had experienced.

At my second con ever a couple friends and I were sitting outside the hotel on this ledge kind of thing. This Ichigo cosplayer came over to us and we all started conversing, socializing whatever. He was probably 17 or 18 years old and he was sitting pretty close to me, which didn't really bother me that much (Later, all my friends said he was flirting with me, but I didn't realize). Eventually he asked how old I was. At the time I was 14. When I told him, he immediately moved away from me a bit, but he did it in way that showed that he was surprised that I was so young as he thought I was older. He wasn't creepy at all, from the first time we started talking until the end of the convention. He was super nice and we became friends with him and hang out at conventions that we mutually go to. Now that I've been in the cosplay community for many years, I realize how bad that situation could have been if he had been a creeper. It has made me appreciate that situation more that he tried hitting on me, but once he realized I was underage, he backed off. There are a lot of weird people at cons, but there are also a lot of great people too.

I've unfortunately had a similar experience like this at a con. This guy was cornering girls and trying to get their numbers and saying that he only likes girls who give him their real names. He said "I guess you could be my girlfriend" to me. My friend and I pretended to be dating when he was around so he wouldn't bug us and we had to help other girls out of similar situations throughout the weekend before we reported him finally. His mom is a vendor at all the cons I go to though so he is always around. I usually feel really safe at cons but I personally felt extremely creeped out.

He didn't hug my girlfriend for long since I was next to her (cosplaying goku and I'm 6'3" working on being a bodybuilder). If this happens to you, you need to let the con staff know. Con staff wants you to feel safe and if someone is making you feel uncomfortable they want to know. If more then one person has a problem with the same person most cons will have a staff member keep a eye on them, see if they are a problem, maybe talk to them, tell them to change their behavior. Most creepers get away with being creepy because the con staff doesn't know what is going on. So, please tell the staff if someone is making you feel unsafe. They want to know!

I remember a few years ago I went to A-con with one of my friends and I found out this girl I had met online was going so we met up and got lunch and what not but she was with one of her own friends as well. They hadn't come together but they met up and her friend (my internet friends friend) was all over me, and at some points I had to try and break free from her in big crowds because of how hard she was creeping on me. It bothered me too because she was a senior in high school and I was still in middle school at this point. And now I'm scared to go to a convention if she is going to be there because she kept like, touching on me and stuff, nothing sexual but she was hugging me and kept trying to hold my hand and just, it was so awkward...

That same guy was also Finn on Saturday! When I was waiting the in the registration line him and his friend (who was a staff member I think?) cut through the line and asked for my picture. I said yes, then afterwards he asked for a hug, I didn't think much of it but I definitely got a creepy vibe from him. Luckily I got a phone call and had to leave so he didn't say anything more, but he probably approached me because I'm Asian as well. Now thinking of it, there were two Asian girls behind me, which he immediately turned to and asked for pictures as I was leaving. :\

You should always be alarmed if someone you don't know asked to hug you or touch your hair no matter where you are. You do know that he is going to be rubbing up against your breast when he hugs you. Oh about the hair think that almost the same. In many cultures a girls hair is like sacred, same as her breast. It sounds like he just went there to hit on Asian girls. It would sound like this person has no social skills what so ever. Oh, one last thing at a Anime Convention you are in the Real World. Not high school, college campus, and not a work place anything could happen because they let everyone it. He did ask and some let him touch their bodies. don't let anyone do that. This is most likely why a father of a 16 year old girl I know wont let her go to a daytime 9am to 6pm only convention with him going with her.

MY EXPERIENCE IS LONG IM SORRY My first con was Cosplay Mania here in the Philippines back in 2013. I was with my friends, walking around the con, when we decided to have a small break. All of a sudden, this foreigner (had blue eyes, long white hair, and a long beard) suddenly approached us and asked for a picture with me. We were alright with that, but when my friend took the pic with the foreigner's camera, he hugged me REALLY tightly. AND HE DIDN'T SHOWER. After the pic, he started saying these Spanish phrases which, as he explained, meant ' beautiful cute girl.' Not wanting to be rude, we just nodded along until he left us. A few hours later, we were eating at a table at a stall, when he deliberately approaches us, and, I kid you not, tells me to have sweet dreams that night. WHAT THE FUCK. Then, the following summer, I see a warning that an admin from an fb page posted, telling congoers to be cautious of a man who was creeping up on females. And then, lo and behold, IT WAS HIM. I've had something horrible happen to me at a convention. It was barely my second convention and my second time cosplaying. I wasn't really prepared to you know cosplay and it was a last minute thing so I thought the easiest thing to be would be pikachu. My mom helped me out and we made the ears, tail, did the makeup and it was Great. I got there at the convention and I ran into one of my friends there. So her and I went to all the different panels and people were asking for pictures and all that. My costume wasn't really revealing. I was going for a pikachu/trainer look with the knee high socks, shorts, tail,ears,and tank top. So everything is going well and this guy with his friends approaches me and meanwhile my friend was looking at the anime items they were selling. He said "Hey pikachu" and threw this ping pong pokeball (Idk where it even came from) at my fffffreaking boob. And then he goes "I caught you you're mine Now " I have never had something like this in my life happen to me. so I stood there as that ping pong dropped him staring at my boobs then looking at me smiling and I'm just like what the hell just happened!? And then he tries and make me go with him! that's when my friend came in though and jokingly said nah she mine. And after awhile the guy left. It was just so so weird o-O And in that same convention there was a very older guy taking pictures of me from behind and was following me from behind! This guy didn't even ask for my picture he was just taking pictures of me from behind and following a bit like a creep! And idk but I didn't say anything. It's like I hear stories about weirdos you run into at conventions I just never really thought I'd face them. But I didn't say anything. I ended up telling one of my friends about this and my friend that went to the convention with me thought I was lying about the Guy taking pictures behind me. Like why would I lie about that!? She didn't see him cuz she was probably focused on the convention itself but I saw! And it just made me feel so uncomfortable to where I became afraid to cosplay anything cute again. it was just so creepy!!!

There was a VERY similar guy at Animarathon 2015... he was not touching girls as much but i did see him going up to people and hugging them without there permission. I also heard when in a panel, that he snatched the girl who was telling the story, and shoved her into a closet. What made it even more creepy was he was dressed as Winny the Poo. Also when the girl finished saying so my cousin that went with me shouted in the panel "I GOT A PICTURE WITH HIM OH MY GOD!" i also heard from other people that he did the same thing, he snatched them and shoved them into closets....

I've never been to this con or ran into this guy, but there's no lack of creepers at the cons I go to. Just last year I had a guy try to peek up my skirt after a photo shoot. I always wear shorts under skirts, but still. He said "Oh Meulin (the character I was in) would be totally fine with this!" like that somehow made it okay. I was SO close to knocking his teeth down his throat, but one of the people I was with (who is now one of my best friends) stopped me and reminded me that I'd get banned from the con for starting a fight. And I love the con, so I didn't hit him. I later heard that not only did he do this to other cosplayers but he targeted trans youths and mocked them. He even drugged four girls and physically assulted them after one of the raves. He's since been banned from that and other cons held in the state, but he's still able to go to cons in the states around us

Lol; wow.. I guess 2 hugs are so extreme and terrible versus one, the way you people think makes me sick.. Since when was it wrong to greet someone with a hug? Everytime I see a friend I hug hello and goodbye bc that's the way I am. If you would just open your mind to understanding that not everyone is the same, he was an extrovert and from Italy, just because he doesn't fit your "norm" you freak out and call him a creeper.. Just calm down and realize like I said that people are as different as night and day and there's nothing wrong with that. Sigh, most people here are so closed minded-they don't even care to know more about him or care to try and change their minds so that this doesn't happen again..

I know the pain about creepers, random hugs, touching, talking to you but the worst experience had to be during my first year of cosplaying.I was hanging around at a table eating food with some friends and some random guy comes up bends down my knees and grabs my skirt with one hand and weirdly enough pulls out a ruler and say to me "You can't cosplay Lucy from fairytaill cuz your skirt is 2 inches too short" and then he starts to lecture me on proper lengths and bla bla bla. At first I though he was an overly avid fan but my older friend told me he was full on creeper.

I remember my first con and cosplaying Russia from Hetalia. I was traveling with my friend cosplaying on the second and third with another friend cosplaying No Face from Spirited Away. All three days I was cosplaying Russia and he wears a large trenchcoat so I wasn't being revealing at all as I was 11. So the last day we were walkin around con, it was Anime Overload so it was quite small and we were kinda bored. So this guy comes up and asks us to look at his drawings and they were pretty good tbh so we started chatting. Again me and my friend were 11 and he was about 25ish. Now theres nothing wrong with having older friends but he got creepy fast. We left after awhile to go to the dealers room and maybe buy stuff. I am carrying around a fake metal pipe as Russias weapon. He found us again and started fake sword fighting with me with his fake sword. No asking just started swinging. I being ignorant played along and soon after he said I was hot roleplaying. I WAS AN 11 YEAR OLD CHILD!!

There's a guy that goes to Shuto that I worry about. He's there every year and I've met this guy at my old school. He is really creepy and asks for hugs from every girl he sees and he hugs them so that he is groping people. I've also met his 14 year old girlfriend, who was pregnant from him (to make it more disgusting, he is about 22 and was her guitar teacher). He hasn't done anything at Shuto, but my friends and I keep an eye on him, so that we can report him to security if need be.

Well, frankly, when you've been to as many cons as I have (over 28 years' worth) you rack up a mountain of stories - both good and bad. In fact, I've started an online manga to relate all of them. It's named Secret Agent Fangirl and it's over at Deviantart.com. Probably the creepiest guy I've ever met at a con was the legendary Johnny Otaku at Yulecon 2008. Although my interaction with him was very brief, it's nothing I can forget without therapy. The next day, I found out that he had assaulted one of the voice actress guests of the con by taking her and slamming her against a wall. Although previously, Ice chest Man was the winner there. He would rent a room at cons, not show up to the con itself, but at night go around with an ice chest on wheels and try to sell beer to anyone at somewhat inflated prices.

At my second con which was MCM Scotland I was dressed as CrockerCorp Jade Harley I was with my best friends and while walking around I noticed this guy who was dressed as Sora kinda looking at me so being polite I smiled at him then went back to looking around but not long later he started talking to me and we were at a packed stall and I was looking to buy stuff so I talked to him for a little bit before buying a shirt and quickly getting out of the hall with my friends. One of my friends even pointed out that he had been following me for a while then low and behold he came out the hall, specifically looking for me before he just tagged along with us until he was like "oh I gotta go but I'll see you again!" I was so creeped out and one of the worst parts was that he didn't know my costume so he was pretty much just talking to a 15 year old in a red skirt and knee highs

That is beyond creepy, I had similar people here in Arizona. Some guy came up and grabbed my best friend's hand and started like pulling her just cause she was dressed like Misa from Death Note. I yelled at him and he backed off. I've also had people follow my group and watch us which was weird considering only a few of us were dressed up, but it was nothing special. Cosplay is not Consent.

Fortunately for me, I've never been hit on at a con. I always hang around my boyfriend. He's a tall guy (6'1") and kinda intimidating to most people so not many people approach us as it is.

Omg I know who you are talking about. This guys saw my friend and was hugging her just like you said. My friend told my other friend and I about it and we were creep out by it. So every time we see him at the con, we try to hide or look away so he won't see us. So throughout amke, we didn't have a problem with him until Sunday when everybody was leaving. He was in the hotel lobby. It seemed like he was waiting there to give every girl he hugged before another hug before leaving because as my friend was leaving, he saw he and gave her another hug.

Not this con, but I recently went to a con in Texas. I usually don't cosplay female characters, but I decided as going as Hatsune Miku on Sunday. Not even 5 minutes passed and this guy, who had to have been a grown up (I was 15 at the time), came up to me to talk. It didn't really bother me, because I had my cousins, one in her 20's and the other around my age. But he would not leave me alone. He kept getting in my personal space, trying to get me farther away from my cousins. I was trying to be polite, and kept talking with him until he left. He never touched me though, so it wasn't all too bad.

In a lot of pictures taken with him, everyone is smiling and looks so happy; but since this guy who made the video is leading the whole thing-of course he is going to leave out how kind and happy the guy really was. He was considered "creepy" bc he is different according to everyone's norm at the con.. My experience with him was nothing like this at all. So happy he didn't find me. I was wearing a sort of revealing outfit on Sunday and that would have made me extremely uncomfortable. However, a friend of mine and I were at the mall Saturday at Amke this year (the day I saw you there! I'm Cece c:) and this guy was asking for my friend's picture. Without asking he grabbed her hand and got super close to her and I felt really bad for her because she was really obviously uncomfortable with him holding her hand, especially since he didn't ask to.

Sigh, so many men go to conventions to be creeps, not all of them of course! But just a tiny percentage, it's so annoying. Sometimes it's best to have a 'handler' (Someone who holds your bag and stuff or whatever) or just a friend who's bigger, intimidating, or just good in the line of protection, idk, it's just upsetting to know that some guys (women as well) do this to innocent people at cons :/

Hi there!, I have a story, but with a girl! Well I am not from the US, I am from Mexico and in my city three times a year takes place a small convention and in the last one I was with one of my friends walking around, I was cosplaying Prince Robot IV from Saga and she Loki. We were talking and stuff when I took off my "helmet" and a girl (she was with a friend) approached to us and said: "Why do you cover your face if you are so pretty", I did not reply, but her friend explained to her what was cosplay and she was like: But you should not do it... (she talked a bit more and then said) can I touch your face?, I was like WTF but allowed her. "Wow your skin is so soft and your eyes beautiful. Then she took the head of my cosplay and stared to walk my friend and I were like "Hey give it back!", after following her she gave it to me and said:"When I saw you I thought you were a guy. I was completely freaked out but anyways I explained to her that my character was a guy and stuff like after that she "poked" (I am not sure of the word, sorry) my boob!, I was so freaked out as my friend, I was very surprised, I did not expected it!, so I did not know what to do or say, I treated her to do the same to her and she was like whatever and keep doing it. After some awkward moments my friend and I leaved. We were like WTF. (I hope you understand what I wrote English is not my first language)

My first hug at a con was a really a surprise but I expected it because of my cosplay. This was last year at Anime Expo. I was coplaying a young Sasuke (real age 15) and I was standing in the entrance room and a Japanese girl around my age just ran up to me and huged me saying "I can die happy now! " XD and we took a photo. lol

There's a guy that goes to all my local cons and cosplays from the flinstones. He looks pretty old. He's constantly going up to girls and asking for pictures, and then just takes the picture before they can respond and walks away. He's one of the well-known creepy-ish guys around here.

I've had something similar happened to me aswell,during my first conversation me and Sid were walking to the dealer's room when we noticed his older man in a fox hoodie. personally I stayed by Sid in all then he comes up to me and says all this stuff about the tail I had on. after that we continued walking around the dealer's room and I spotted him again watching...I don't know why or who but he generally creeped me out, I told Sids friend Hannah and she said that he was stalking people around the con in all, also I'm just pointing this out that I'm not trying to hurt him in all but it freaked me out

I have, thankfully, only encountered one legitimately creepy person at a con. I have never cosplayed anything remotely revealing and that's mostly due to personal preference, but the cosplay I wore that day made what transpired even more confusing to me. I was a steampunk werewolf that year, wearing a non form-fitting vest, long shirt, loose pants, etc. Honestly he never would have known I was a girl unless he'd heard me speak. But at one point this guy asks if he can have a picture with me, pulls out his dinosaur of a phone and asks my friend to take the picture. He puts his arm around me tightly- he smells like ass. So I screw my face up into a snarl- basically finding a way to ruin his picture. He looks at the picture and goes "that's a weird grin you have." And I say, getting visibly angry, "Yeah, it is." Then he asks us where we're going later and we make our excuses and go. I get really freaked out by this sort of thing so now I don't let people touch me at conventions at all unless it's someone I know and trust. Luckily this asshat never got my name.

When I was 13, I wore a low-cut shirt as part of a cosplay and a lot of older teenage guys (some in cosplay, some not) kept stopping to ask for pictures with me and asked me for my number. This was my first time experiencing something like this so I didn't realize why they were doing that, but when i think back on it its just /really/ gross to think this was more than one guy at the same con and they had to know i was underage.
