Aside from Jeongwon opening the drink for her, Gyeoul made it more obvious by accepting the bottle with only one hand without making any formal gesture or mumble of thanks. If I were the colleague, I'd find that more unusual than Jeongwon opening the bottle for her. Gyeoul has always been very courteous with her superiors so for Jeongwon to be that "gentlemanly" with her and she didn't even mumble a thank you or bow her head a bit, that alone suggests normalcy and that she's used to Jeongwon doing something like that for her.

Really encourage you to see the behind the scene that was uploaded in channel full moon. The first 10 something of bts video is about how they cast each character and the reading, then after that they post bts of each episode. One episode consist of 2 part bts video. In the series we usually saw the scene from Gyeoul point of view (POV) thus make us blind about Jongwon side of story and create the excitement but also anxiousness of the ship since so little Jongwon reaction came. But in behind the scene it is more elaborated because they show Jongwon pov too. You can get more of his side of story in that. And hopefully will answer your question more.
