After watching K drama for the last 10 years, I have rarely stumped upon such a good actor as Jo. I looked at his background, he started with theatre. I really think this matters a lot. He is so much more of a seasoned actor that other men starring on K dramas. Huge difference.

That one scene he was asking why she'd come back was unforgettable, i literally stopped breathing. Watched that scene 10 times and their acting, just wow. Also their dialogues were really well-written too, i had to read the subs 2 times to understand their allusive sentences.

Cho Jung-Sok's acting is simply sensational. It is refined, bold and firm but also torn, sensitive and vulnerable. As I have been watching Korean dramas for many years this was one of the most refined performances I have seen so far. I don't know how he did it but hats off to him.

Have really come to appreciate his acting chops! He is able to portray the personality of a king who has experienced betrayal and intrigue to the extent he is hyper sensitive to anything perceived as betrayal. He is very believable in this character role, and his emotions, and conflicted feelings come through. Very well acted on both of their parts.
