Great video. It is the only one I found that explains the order of attaching triangles and when and how the extra row is done. Small nuances that I stumble with. I can only do word pattern. Again, your video is the only one I found for using the graph. I will be practicing with it. Just for your information the text on screen is to light for me to read it. But worth the challenge for me. Blessings

Great video. I always use your 4 sided graphs (when I don't use your word chart) and I'm glad to see it done using this one. It's also good that you showed how to fold it. That can be really important!

Great video! Thanks for sharing. To my surprise I actually liked it that there is no audio :). The demo is very clear.

Why did you start with yellow beads? In the graph, the initial beads look orange.
@TheTalesOfBeads Жыл бұрын
These aren’t yellow beads, they are orange. Well, the bead color is called “squash”, actually, so it’s more light orange.
@jeweliedee4299 Жыл бұрын
@@TheTalesOfBeads An artifact of the lighting, I guess, makes them look yellow. Thanks.

Walter Edwards because I’m not a native English speaker, so I decided to use text instead of voicing the video.

Thank you for your video and free pattern (especially the word version). Both were very helpful, and I successfully finished 5 pieces of a star. I hate to show my ignorance, but here I go: Am I right or wrong in assuming I need to make two of each warped square? P.S. Wish you did a voice-over on the video!
@TheTalesOfBeads5 жыл бұрын
Eileen White I’m so happy the video was helpful. So sorry I couldn’t do the voice-over: I’m not a native speaker and I decided to use text instead. You have to make only 5 squares for a star and then zip them together (see Beaded star tutorial part 3: how to add an extra row and zip the squares together (method 2)). Just to make sure everything is going the way it should, could you take a photo of the squares and email them to me (thetalesofbeads at gmail.com)?

I learn to do the 3D peyote star with another video. One that had verbal and close caption instructions. Once I understood the basic structure, I then went on to her fabulous patterns. I am doing this one next. I use her word graphs. She has a Facebook group.
