BTW You dont need 400 gold for a mount, you can buy a hoverboard mount at level 7 from a group outside the Spawn in area that has a HoverBoard for sale for 250 gold!

26:18 I really hope they change this. This is simply a QOL enhancement, there's not reason for you to get the option to choose a BOP reward for another class. All this does is give room for mistakes. Also, gender specific items... Sure for some stuff, like lets say a tuxedo and a wedding dress, it makes sense, but for a quest reward, just more room for error

This information is great, but one huge oversight is the mount. You can get a hoverboard mount for 250g close to the starting town by an NPC called 'Griz Turner'. The mount is the biggest QoL improvement to your experience and you should focus on getting this first with your gold.

for classes we have Starting 6 sub classes between the 3 Heroes which are are Warmonger- shaman and legionary Champion- destroyer and ranger Bomber- infiltrator and blast medic those are whats going to be out for EA

The classes the guide lists as playable are not in the game yet, there are 3 races, 2 of their eventual 3 subclasses are available, merc, paladin, pain are not in.

Incredible guide - covered basically everything. It's worth however mentioning, that current early access version of the game is basically a skeleton/base - most of the content is not released yet and is planned to be released slowly over the coarse of 2025.

Thank you! You can but I think the progress will be slower without the gold, exp and equipment, crafting plans and sellable stuff. Best thing to do would be clear the map in the main town, talk to all NPCs and pick up the quests then you can complete them organically while running about and exping

@@manuzitz for speed of leveling, its 100% possible, there are times where mob kills at sufficiently higher levels can give the equivalent of a quest worth of exp PER KILL. for "progress" its less recommended as you will be relying solely on rng drops, so you will actually end up pretty disadvantaged.

Great vid! Well explained, im mostly enjoy pvp in mmos, do you think its balanced between the classes. From my experience with games, healers have been difficult to balance around and usually end up being unkillable - is thst the case here?

Thank you! I'm not 100% sure sorry. During the late stages of Alpha 4 there was not enough people playing to really see much PvP or get an idea about how balanced the classes are. We will only know this after seem mass players and different classes/builds

I was really looking forward to the game at first, and it’s okay for it to be a bit more challenging. Difficult and challenging is good - but in my opinion, the developers have taken it a step too far in the wrong areas. The pressure to play in a group and, above all, the practically nonexistent HP regeneration are a total no-go.

I think eventually you can get up regen but that’s later in the game after you have certain upgrades, from what others have said.

You're able to craft plenty of snacks that help with regen. I always pack Bread at low level so I can just eat it after a few fights and it gets your health back up easily enough, with stronger options at higher level. The Pathfinder talent mastery also has some perks you can take for some regen

You can only change it to PvP ON outside of Green Zones, it will be turned on by default even in other zones

What do you mean when you say your class choice is permanent? Permanent as in Diablo 3 where your class choice is permanent per play through, or you can't play any other classes unless you buy another game copy? What's that mean?

You're able to have multiple characters. It means you can't switch classes on your character - each class has 3 sub-classes which you will be able to switch between but your Hero/Class/Race choice is not changeable.

Quick Question for you. So you say at lvl 40 you can switch specs to lvl those, but elsewhere I heard that EA will have a max level of 20. So can we not switch between the classes available to us yet?

On the alpha it wasn't possible at level 20. It's unknown at the moment what the max level and spec switch requirement will be on the Early Access but from past developer comments the information they shared was that an NPC quest would allow switching at level 40

On the discord they said max level will still be 20 during early access but after reaching level 20 you’ll still “level up” but you’ll be rewarded with higher tier items and coins for the cash shop instead of your level# increasing, since the max is 20 atm.

There will be no wipes going into beta unless there are severe game breaking bugs. Here is a message directly from the Developers about this: "Yes, that's an important question. Honestly, we don't have a definitive answer, but I can share our thoughts, which might help the community assess the risks when purchasing the game. We fully understand how crucial it is for players not to lose their progress after the start of Early Access. We're hardcore gamers ourselves, and when the community raises such concerns, we don't just hear them-we feel them. We've been there. We sincerely hope that we won't have to wipe progress. I'd like to remind everyone that we've never released an MMORPG before; we simply didn't have that experience. But we're learning very quickly. In fact, we've prepared very well to handle any potential issues that might arise. During Alpha Test 4, we gathered a lot of information and created a lot of tools for monitoring, detecting, and eliminating any problems we classify as critical. Our experience has grown tremendously over the months of testing. The team at the start of testing and the team now are two different teams in terms of understanding all the processes; our experience and grasp of technical issues are on a completely different level. So, we genuinely have a very good chance of proceeding without a wipe. As a team, we're ready for anything. However, our experience tells us that every new step carries risks, and we don't know what might happen or what challenges we'll face during the game's launch and afterward. For this reason, we can't promise definitively how things will go. But if necessary, we will always be guided by common sense and assess situations as they unfold. If something harms the game or significantly degrades our players' experience, we won't hesitate for a second to do what's necessary-even if that means wiping progress."

It's 100% rewarding to play in a group, there's some challenging content already with more Tanking content that will arrive over the Early Access and into full Launch. Tanking is currently possible but a bit challenging because the threat system still needs some refining, simply due to the threat competition with healers and high performing DPS

They've said their goal is not to have to wipe but certain circumstances may arise that could make it necessary. In short, could go either way. The games full release isn't anticipated until late next year.

There’s not supposed to be any wipes, the devs commented in the Corepunk discord saying that only if there are major problems they will wipe but they also have the capability of wiping specific characters or rolling back to certain dates/times so that would suggest it’s highly unlikely a wipe situation will occur

I think by the time 1.0 releases, you will want a fresh server.. People will be max level within 2 days of EA going live. People will be full T3 by the end of the week. After 6months of EA going live, people will be absolutely stacked. 1.0 release will bring some new content and classes - it would be very beneficial to wipe everyone progress and start again fresh (just my opinion)

There will be a huge difference between the Alpha and Early Access simply because of the player population. I've played the Alpha mostly solo so far and really enjoyed it and not had any problems. Some parts will be harder solo but there will also be much more people around the map. Might be worth a try on a lower tier pass maybe?

oh come on man, stop it. if you cant see how much passion, love and conviction these people have put into this game then i dont know what planet are you on. cash grab? they have been through hell and back and still continuously pushed through and onward. with a genuine commitment to no-p2w, no predatory sales practices and staying true to their (and our) original vision. i know constant betrayals from this industry has made people bitter and jaded but... you can tell this is not the case here. why do you think they havent promoted the game AT ALL after the big ign trailer and the missed release deadline? they are polishing it and making it perfect. thats why all the alphas and even early access were on the hush hush. they dont want eyes on it until its ready to ship. the sales for EA vastly exceeded their expectations and what did they do? they stopped sales until 1 week before release (instead of cashing as much money as possible and then having hour long queues and overloaded servers that would chug like the "new world" first month of release). these are integrity moves! this is the opposite of how a "cash grab" would work. their communication is awful (i mean, youd have to TRY to be this bad at it) we all agree. but thats no reason to think theyre not in it for the long run (someone whos out for your dough would be the first to bombard you with 50 tweets a day). they arent transparent because they are a bunch of old school nerds hyper focused on bringing their vision to life in its best possible iteration (theyre a richard hendricks without an erlich bachman)

It really depends. Steam take a cut of the revenue, it's a good enough reason not to go on steam at least not to begin with. If you can build up a player base without Steam/Epic and then utilise those platforms later when you have the game fully built so you can 100% deliver on your promises, with a game running smoothly, and a core active community - it gives you the chance to gain a whole new wave of players and push the game forward.

This is simply not true. Stop projecting your toxic view of things. In reality I wish more devs did this. Have a standalone early access period with dedicated fans who are willing to provide feedback before releasing on steam at launch. Releasing on steam can be bad especially in a game as perceptively old school like this. It will be review bombed by people who don't know why life doesn't regen and other things, pushing away any possible new players once it's in mixed or negative. Waiting until 1.0 let's them iron out the kinks and hopefully make some design changes.
