Hi, I sometimes get killed by Olms with his swipe although i had my shield up blocking. Don't know why this happens. Looking at the video, maybe I wasn't fast enough before dodging the cone he is spitting, as it gives a debuff? We didn't get to the point with fire yet on +2, what do I have to bash here exactly? If this game can become the Everquest 3 we never got, this would be awesome!

So it sounds like EQ Hell levels but for the entire game. I'm going to give it a hard pass, lol. People ride too much on the "Nostalgia" of the older MMOs when those outdated systems were garbage even at the time.

just found this game on steam and was intrested at once... But after i put alot of money the past 10months on games i played at most 30min-2h and that was so horrible i just wanted moore info before i even put either money or any kind of time into a new game....... Very Everquest-ish, they didn't have a map to start with either. I've done those kind of quests so many times in Everquest that they are not fun anymore. This game seems grindy. I'll pass.

The classes the guide lists as playable are not in the game yet, there are 3 races, 2 of their eventual 3 subclasses are available, merc, paladin, pain are not in.

Incredible guide - covered basically everything. It's worth however mentioning, that current early access version of the game is basically a skeleton/base - most of the content is not released yet and is planned to be released slowly over the coarse of 2025.

This information is great, but one huge oversight is the mount. You can get a hoverboard mount for 250g close to the starting town by an NPC called 'Griz Turner'. The mount is the biggest QoL improvement to your experience and you should focus on getting this first with your gold.

Plays EverQuest spiritual successor > complains that there is no map, mobs are hard to beat, limited storage, slow combat at start. Yeah, you used to the handholding.
