English When I read the title of your review, I immediately thought of Virginia Woolf. It was the first Virginia Woolf book I bought on my first trip to England when I was 18. I've read everything from and many about her now. Virginia wrote A Room of One's own for all those who hath wondered why it was/is that women were/are largely absent from the history books, unless they were/are queens, mothers or mistresses. Your wonderful reviews are a support, that the space for oneself and spaces for our loved ones are not only full of literature, philosophy, which is what they are with me, but also of life and entertainment, good society. The latter makes the sweetness of life.

Thank You! I really appreciate your comments---women birth the world of generations---yet are too often disregarded & disrespected! I remember reading an article long ago, wherein someone asked the question: "Where do mothers go when they need mothering?" The reply was: "To other mothers". Women must uplift each other every chance we get! It is encouraging that many men have/and are becoming awakened to the idea that without respect for women---the family structure and society as well, will utterly collapse!

I think that surely a room of one's own would inspire creativity---like nothing else! Like a microsm of one's own self---how could it not be the most inspiring way to create the very best of one's self! LOVED THIS VIDEO! It reminds me of an efficiency apartment I used to live in many years ago (after yet another failed marriage). The walls were of beautiful shellacked pine wood paneling, with lots of natural light, and the bathroom & kitchen were made of concrete block and shiplap overhead. It was designed & built in the 1940's by a strong, independent Southern woman named Ms.Ollie, before Ms. meant: single, divorced female. She built the complex to include gardens on three sides with lush purple bearded iris---and the side my apartment was on was rather secluded and private. It was like a little cocoon for me with the few precious items I owned, as I began to write and to heal, and nurture myself. I still go there very often in my mind, when I need to remember how nurturing & inspiring that little space was for me! It was a "God-send"!

What a sweet memory. It gave me chills and it sounds magical. I really think your surroundings, made by man or nature, can heal and inspire! “If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need.” Cicero.

Hi- is it the sound level, the type of music or just that it’s playing in the background in general? Thanks for the feedback.

@@Beautiful131313 Every book review to date, has had music accompany the narration! Maybe once or twice it has been a tad loud, but otherwise it's been delightful!!! She's taken your comment to heart, and given you the opportunity to make a suggestion... I would love to hear your thoughts!

It must have been to loud. I'll just mute this book review.
