How lovely! I favor "pretty" and will always hope to err on the side of pretty over "powerful" "minimalist" "well textured" "strong lines" etc... ;) This video is one of the BEST!!!

Hello Mary, Thank you for yet another great review. I must say l do love color in a room when it is tastefully done. However, WOW.....I loved this tour of Hobcaw Barony preserve! I could move into this beautiful brick home and live on these beautiful surroundings in a heartbeat! I have to say this is one of the prettiest preserves I have seen yet! Thank you for taking us along....it was so interesting. I hope these homes and surroundings can be maintained and preserved forever! Have a great week and I will see you in the next one. Hugs! :) PS: I would have loved to have seen the inside of these homes!)

Oh, I just loved your table setting in blue and white. I think I may try that for Valentine's Day for a change. You had me at Schumacher, blue and white is such a delightful classic. While I never was a fan of blue, living in Florida has changed that - now turquoise is one of my favorite colors. Great video and review as always and may I say - I'm in love with the wallpaper mural in your dining room. Stunning!

I live in Horry County SC. the next county north of Georgetown. Looking at Georgetown Real Estate listings, they are usually modest. This is a big surprise to me. I have heard of Bernard Baruch but never associated him with anything but major Northeast Cities and politics.

I worked for Windsor Market throughout high school in Tulsa, OK. We once held a book signing for one of his books, and I was able to get to know him. What I remember most was his humor and kindness. As a teenager, he made me feel like my opinion and love for interior design mattered, and that is something I still carry with me. He is resting in God's Glory 💙

And I thought I had all the books by veranda Magazine. Veranda, as represented in this book, always reflects the kind of space that I want to live in: lots of colors, layers, textiles , art, old and new things, and textures all combined in exuberance.

The original inhabitants of Hobcaw Barony, SC were Native Americans from the Waccamaw tribe. Europeans TOOK the land from them and enslaved Africans who worked the land.
