I bought this model and has been a truly great sounding with my Denafrips Pontus II 12th anniversary DAC. Every positive audio attribute you have mentioned is one I have experienced. I hope that HiFi Rose will be there for customer support the way Bluesound has been for me in the past. should I ever need it. The display is probably the best bling it has going for it and RoseTube is nice too. I find I like to use Roon Nucleus with it more so than the built in user app or phone app.

I'm a Denafrips DDC Hermes and DAC Pontus 12th owner still using Bluesound over usb into the DDC. The Bluesound has its own external PSU. So when I see somebody like you made a serious upgrade I'm very curious what that brings you in musical terms. A friend of mine own a RS250A and everything works fine except Qobuz. With my Bluesound Qobus works excellent. What did the RS130 brings you? Thanks

@@jakobgooijer It's a transport, the reason to get something ultra high-end is because it has a specific feature you need. The point of a transport is that you leave the responsibility of sound to your DAC. If you have an overly complicated set-up with multiple dacs and what have you, you need word clock. Get noise from USB and use DSD? You need i2s. If you have a separated hi-fi rack, the fiber USB3.0 in is a huge value add since USB3 transceivers are very expensive, or might even be needed because I don't know how noisy those transceivers are. That alone might be worth the value of this unit if your set-up requires this, I can't think of any other device that has it built-in. A lot of units that focus purely on sound in this price range are a pure scam in my opinion (actually what I'm thinking of is in a price range above this unit). Maybe some of the components used could influence the jitter on a digital signal, and maybe you can hear this on the highest end of systems, but ultimately spending this kind of money on a better speaker, amp or dac (in that order, the Pontus is already very nice too) is going to have a bigger influence. I'm not against building the ultimate best possible set-up at any cost, but it's only worth the price of admission once you have sorted out those other components first. And even then we're talking mostly about cleaning up noise in the ultrasonic range and things of that nature, which might fix some synergy voodoo. In more general terms, with a transport you should focus mostly on the features.

Have you discover the serious bugs yet? If you have 50k plus tracks and you want to add more the rescanning never ends and there's no DSD gapless playback.
