I've got this unit and the sound is excellent but the software is so bad. Full of bugs. It's very suspicious that nobody says anything.

@@GramophoneMD I have this unit too and the software is clunky. Sounds great. But no explanation on how to use the upsampling and no provision to upscale from pcm to dsd although it can play DSD. Finding DSD content is tough. They need to do alot of work on the software

@@baronofgreymatter14 Thanks Baron. The basics are actually pretty easy on HiFi Rose units. But you can do SO many things with them, and uncovering nuances is not always easy. A major reason why I out-qualified this one from my upgrade list. Read about way too many unfortunate user experiences re. the software / app. - on top, Tidal Connect (I am used to operating it from my iPad) is still not supported: Rose: "TIDAL CONNECT is not currently planned. Please use TIDAL in the ROSE app" 😵‍💫

I have the RS130 hooked up to my McIntosh MA1200 integrated amp. The sound this combination puts out is unmatched. However, The UI and APP are not so great. The remote is horrible. Very cheap looking & feeling. And, unless you have the remote directly pointed at the Rose, it will not work. Hifi Rose needs to work on these issues to justify it's cost of admission
