That's intentional design. Look at your flasks before you go into a boss fight. Bundling it with visiting town is extremely stupid. If you don't think about your flasks before going into a boss fight, why would you necessarily think about going to town? If he had zero items to sell, he could have easily missed going to town too and failed to trigger the automatic refill. Even if flask refills were automatic, it clearly shows that forsen wasn't even thinking about the flasks before going into a bossfight and he was clearly unaware whether they were even filled. He was literally dependent on his luck of entering a town earlier. That's asking your luck to carry you. Braindead take. This isn't about QoL. Even if the QoL existed, he could have easily lost his life because he doesn't bother to check something that basic. That's his own fault. It shows carelessness. He was dependent on getting lucky through a QoL feature. Retarded. He should stick to Roblox. People have reached level 80+ on hardcore and he's still stuck and complaining about the game when he's clearly just shit. If you don't want to have to intentionally refill your flasks what you want is for them to be forever full and never have to be refilled. What you're really saying is that flask refills are a shit mechanic and you should be able to refill them infinitely or remove the mechanic entirely. Because if the mechanic exists, YOU MUST HAVE TO THINK ABOUT IT or it serves no purpose. Gamers should do what they do best, just complain instead of thinking they understand an inkling of game design or solutions to anything at all. You are a chimpanzee chasing dopamine in a system designed for exactly that. Submit to your instinct and scream ooh ooh aah aah like a good little monkey and let the thinkers do their jobs.

How did he even miss the checkpoint that refills flasks? Anyway, the point about flasks not recharging in town is valid, this game is pure trash because a bunch of boomer devs who had a faint remembrance of how it felt to play Diablo 2 back in the day and then tried to (poorly) emulate the experience with PoE 2. I can find more item upgrades in an one hour session of Diablo 2 than I can in a full day playing PoE 2.
