This is my 2nd Keurig coffee maker of this model. kzbin.infoUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf The first worked fine for more than 2 years, and I could still get a decent cup of coffee out of it if I fiddled with it when I decided to replace it. The problem I had with my first unit was this: When attempting to brew a cup of coffee, the unit would either keep brewing until the coffee was undrinkable or it would not run long enough and the coffee produced was way too strong. I cleaned the unit as best I could but it did not help. So in the end it was just too much trouble to get a good cup of coffee out of it, so I decided to replace it with a new one, which has been working great since I unpacked it.

Thank you so much. I was given my machine from a friend, who got it from a friend, so no book came with it. I only recently have had little milk come through. After watching your youtube, WOW, problem fixed. When you showed the little piece to put into milk hole, I didn't know that existed. Nor did my friend. So I'm thinking this had never been done in its time. I saved a subscription, on how to fix the problem, by looking you up. We'll done. Very easy to follow. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

For people who enjoy making coffee at home, especially cappuccinos, and have a machine similar to this one or something similar, if you're unable to purchase expensive cleaning solutions, I use white vinegar. Here are the steps: Pour 500ml of white vinegar into the backwater container, then press the last button in the bottom right corner (the milk button) to initiate the descaling process. Once it finishes, fill the water tank and repeat the previous process without the vinegar. After you're done, the machine will be ready to use without the need for expensive cleaning solutions. Enjoy your delicious coffee!

Excellent video. FYI This can also be done using spirit vinegar/white vinegar. Just use 2 parts water to 1 part vinegar in the tank instead of water and descaling solution. Perfect.

I know this is a year late, but found your video whilst trying to work out why my machine had ceased working and what was that orange light flashing? (We got given the machine by a friend second hand and so had never seen any instructions!). I had to be careful and use a prop to keep my plastic container in place because as the machine goes through its cycles the vibration causes the container to shift out of place. Thanks for the post, great explanation.

The descaling light was flashing when I switched on a similar machine (mine has 6 buttons) that I bought up from a Salvation Army outlet for $15 which didn't come with instructions so this video was invaluable eg had no idea about the secret compartment that contained the nozzle. Machine works a treat and the frothing extension works amazingly well. I am not a coffee snob, but in my opinion the coffee made with this machine is indistinguishable from a cafe made coffee (YMMV).
