Really helpful as I move my lectures fully online in response to COVID-19 directives. I already have the Powerpoint slides created for each lecture, and now am adding my audio comments. Almost as good as face-to-face lectures, and students can access at their convenience, as many times as they wish. Thanks!

Great video! A few questions: 1. How do i edit out mistakes in the narration? 2. My Power Point includes musical clips (the little speaker icon at the bottom of my slide). Fantastic thank you and very clear and concise!! I have 2 quick questions ; do you have to use presenter view with 2 monitors? Can you not just use your one pc?? (Eg over skype). 2nd thing that Im unsure about is if you have to show it on skype to an investor for example how can you stop that person from taking a picture of your idea or slides , or saving it to copy...!? Hopefully this can help others to!! Thank you!!

The best thing to do if you're wanting to share it is to save it as a video. You can do this by going to the File menu, and then changing the file type to MP4.

No, I have three screens, and the notes still appear at the top, but I reduce the font size right down so I can see all of the text clearly at once. Alternatively, copy and paste the notes into a separate document and have that on the other screen.

Thanks for a useful video. Some of us do our best in front of a live audience. I do have a few such video recording where PowerPoint captured is however out of focus or incomplete as they focused on the speaker. Can I include the soundtrack from that video to the PowerPoint used changing slides to get the timing and get a narrated PowerPoint?

Hi there. I was so happy to find this video. I just finished my first PP and was wondering how to narrate it without having somebody video or record me. So I'm thrilled. I am told I can now upload my presentation using Office Presentation Services if I have a Microsoft account, which I do. So is that a good way to get it posted online so that it can be viewed by others. Or do I have to be doing a live presentation that way? Or better yet, can you direct me to one of your videos that shows how to do this next step?

Go into your control panel, go to sound settings, find your microphone and increase the volume.

I go through the first steps, then when I try to play back it's like nothing has been recorded at all. I have to record some lessons for my year 9's. It's really frustrating. I do have a couple of technical questions: 1) besides saving the standard PPTX presentation in a PPTX format, where are the other components of the overall presentation / Narration stored? Is all of the the audio stored in an MP3 file, or ??? How about any drawing/ink on the screen? MP4 or something else? I have tried recording a 20 minute show using MP4, and the size became astronomical. I am looking for a solution that doesn't have this problem. Replies to my questions greatly appreciated.
