Me too. In fact it was always a disappointment to me that the show was canceled before more the lore could be explored. Obviously the Beast Planet and all of these other cluster worlds share a commonality in the technology of their origin. Not every single one. I remember from the first or second season Remora was a dead planet. Basically a moon without purpose unlike the “battle moons”. And even then I think the battle moons were originally supposed to be for every planet but somehow Planet Rock had hoarded them all like something million years ago before they all started raiding one another for resources that the others lacked. Others like Planet Tech, Water and Plant all pretty much died/were defeated in part due to to overwhelming force of the Beast and likely Lamprey's sabotages. Back to the other worlds and Planet Rock, I wonder how they got past the Battle Moons to ever raid them in the Resource Wars? 🤔. Unless the others were capable of sophisticated technologies (probably Planet Ice), piloting skills (likely Planet Fire, or at least Pyrrhus has shown proficiency as a pilot), and sufficient hacking/sabotage cyber warefare (more than likely Planet Bone, or at least more so with Femur, and to a lesser degree - Pelvis, in charge) that's the only way the other worlds, in my opinion, would even get close to Planet Rock to raid it's ores. Planet Bone was raised for lichen which likely grew from it's moist atmosphere and used in each world as a sort of combat ration. Planet Fire was likely raided for fuel, although it's anyone's guess as to how. Maybe they had plasma or something 🤔? And Planet Ice was used for a water source, although I wonder why the people of planet Fire would need water 😅🔥🚰🤷🏾‍♂️? Despite being largely made of stone, the humanoids of Planet Rock definitely drank the water. And possibly those of Planet Bone did as well, or maybe they used it to keep their swamps hydrated? Now that I think about it, I wonder what Planet Sand gives as a resource besides it's namesake and what uses the other cluster worlds would use it for? 🤨. Anyway, Planet Rock is full of a hardy and strong people, but that belief and lack of flexible thinking like Graveheart or Jade, stagnated their society. And realistically kind of made their culture a bit spoiled in a way. Their lives were tough from start to finish, but they hardly ever had humility and truth grinded into them (some pun intended). Graveheart and Jade pretty much only had that because of plot and the loss of her brother. I'm guessing it was believed that Graveheart would propose to Jade eventually and they were dating or beginning to. Which is another reason why Jade was jealous of Techla in her way 😏 lol. As well as Graveheart being threatened by Sternum (Femur's bro that he betrayed to become King) when they first met 🤣. But then Mica (Jade's bro) died on a raid to Planet Fire which “broke” Graveheart. They became “only friends” while he regulated himself to a Miner. I also believe he killed Pyrrhus' father on that same day when he went berserk, firing off shots into an oncoming Fire attack fighter. Thank goodness that never got deep dived into, otherwise the alliance never would've worked, Pyrrhus would've become more reckless and hot headed 😱😞 (especially since this is from the same studio, he would've ended up like Enzo from Reboot when he stopped using his first name and called himself Matrix the Renegade. But without someone to cool his flames of vengeance so that their people may survive when the Beast Planet came for them and swallowed up Planet Fire despite the Vizier using the world as a kamekazi weight to crash into the Beast. Just like the people of Planet Water and probably Plant, they all would've died. Although Planet Plant was more like 1 organism split into many minds, including that sapling it gave to Femur to care for like a pet or a baby).

@@davidvangerner7241 That sounds like an incredible turn of events that I'm surprised to Star Wars Galaxy hasn't gone into yet with their own lore like some sort of Unicron type of planet It's just out there devouring other planets getting bigger and stronger as it does. Devouring the Living Force as it goes. And the only way to stop it is to somehow get inside of it without dying, which is nearly impossible. As we've seen in Shadow Raiders that it took forever for Tecla to make that force field generator so that Lord Mantle, Jade and Graveheart could both have a one-on-one with Bloc and Lamprey. It will probably get so bad that palpatine would have to reveal himself as a Sith Lord and even worse probably bring the 1st Death Star out of mothballs when it's barely finished (like it was in the Rogue One: Star Wars story).

@@davidvangerner7241 Once again, the only way to victory would be destroying him internally as they did in the Transformers movie. But doing that in the Beast Planet seems all but impossible considering it's insides are pretty much a furnace of the same stuff their drones and commanders are made of - Null Energy. Plus they flew in at the 11th hour of the Battle of Remora through the cluster's sun. Whatever armor that thing and it's claw arm are made out of is beyond durable and screws with every known concept of physics 😅😵😭. So getting inside of it is probably as close to impossible as ever. Also I think the Prison Planet which was more of a large factory moon repurposed as a prison was likely an experiment by the World Builders of the Cluster. And whenever it teleported away, the thing was preprogrammed to “jump” to worlds created by the Builders. Which is why the Beast Planet ends up at Planet Reptizar (judging by the name, was a planet of Reptile type people. And the reason why the Cluster worlds thought it was barely more than a myth was because of it's teleportation ability, constantly jumping from 1 world's aerospace to another.

Known as Shadow Raiders, this show was made by Mainframe Entertainment, the same company that made Reboot, and you could really feel their fun take on world building with this show. It was a neat watch with some great character designs and the usual Mainframe top notch voice talent. Too bad the toys never really caught on, but I do have a Besat Planet and Planet Tek in my own collection. Good memories.

That moment when planet Forest (?) can't activate its world engines and the planetary consciousness (?) realises it will die...holy shit, mate. That's one of the deepest and sorrowest moments ever seen on any kids' show. It could certainly do for some sort of remake. Although the ESRB rating for the show would probably vary, like how Young Justice started as a more teen oriented superhero show on Cartoon Network but later became more adult themed in its content when crossing into the 3rd and 4th seasons, like showing more blood and gore or even the aftermath of characters like Black Lightning/Jefferson Pierce and Helga Jace (traitorous a**hole as she was, obsessed with making Meta-Humans).

It still makes me sad that the show was cancelled. There was so much potential in it, and the way the series ended was so damn good. And I've re-watched it as an adult, and I still really enjoyed it, it's really well written and all the voice actors gave it their A-Game. Part of me doesn't want it to be rebooted, much like Firefly, I'm not sure a modern reboot would do it justice, especially after all this time. But another part of me would LOVE to dive back into that universe. Definitely give us more Shadow Raiders content please.

With such incredible world building, it's a real shame this never got past 26 episodes due to disappointing toy sales. I'd probably say I'd like to see a continuation, but I'm not holding my breath. The company that made the toys the series was based on went out of business years ago, and I don't have to remind you of what happened to Reboot: The Guardian Ripoff Code. I hope you'll do the other world-factions from War Planets: Shadow Raiders soon.

Well that’s one way of admitting the world never even tried to make sense. Lizard planet best planet, just stick an attack tail on a whole damned world.

The series had originally been planned to have three seasons and 40 episodes in total. But during the exhibition of season two, the toy line had very low sales in Canada. Because of this, despite the series receiving good ratings, the producers decided to cancel it because the series was made to promote the toy line. Due to the cancellation, the third season was not made.

I absolutely loved Shadow Raiders. The only qualm I ever had was with the Prison planet, and it's teleport engines. I never understood if they were Creator-made engines, or something that had been created during the Treaty of Four, and then abandoned/lost the plans/not worth using anywhere else. And the Beast Planet absolutely fascinated me. We only see 3 'living' inhabitants of the the Beast; Lamprey, Blokk, and Voyd. I always wondered if they were the ONLY three, or if the Beast was filled with others like them, and they were just the current infiltrator/commanders sent out by the Beast. Also wanted to know if the Beast itself had a consciousness, like when one of them mentions that the Beast is angry; are they just talking about the collective attitude of the inhabitants, or the planet itself? Also wanted to know about Remora. It'd been part of the system for so long that it was just another world there. Maybe it'd always been there. But had it always been dead? Or had it died at some point, and the Beast just used the husk as a convienent base to build a mini-Beast battlestation?

"But had it always been dead?" Probably always... It's a Pluto stand in... "Also wanted to know if the Beast itself had a consciousness, like when one of them mentions that the Beast is angry; are they just talking about the collective attitude of the inhabitants, or the planet itself?" My take it's that it's the first... An obviously mechanical device is unlikely to have "consciousness", especially when it doesn't really demonstrate it...
