NO religion is named in the bible codex so ALL religions are pagan false doctrine distractions... Jesus isnt a "christian" HE IS the "christ"/example... the "messiah"/messenger .... dont need men in costumes/suits to read and study the bible codex... "do not worship me for I AM here for the Father" bible codex, Jesus = ALL religions specially "christian" are pagan blasphemy .... "deny the Father deny the son" bible codex.... "you can only serve one Master" bible codex, master Jehovah = you deny calling the Father of creation by the "english"/babble translation of his ancient aramaic warrior name... Jehovah.... he created us with ONE word and you cant even utter his name .... "you will not find salvation in the words of these scriptures" bible codex, Jesus .... "I wrote the truth in your hearts" bible codex, master Jehovah... = the bible is a codex (block of wood divided into equal sections) .... = regurgitating scriptures dont mean your saved ... "WE ARE ALL EQUAL SINNERS, not ONE is greater" bible codex, Jesus = creating an "organization" is blasphemy... "you must die to receive your white robes" bible codex, Jesus = NOT ONE FLESH CARCASS AVATAR IS SELF "SAVED"

i hereby witness the ONE bible codex TRANSLATION WE need to unite and study on is the "NWT"/new world TRANSLATION not pagan religious version .... its a direct translation from aramaic/hebrew to "english"/babble with footnotes applied to proper places in txt... ALL other "versions" can be burnt ... they are diluted beyond innerstanding...

@@yourangelinfleshorsackclot1523 you can't even spell understanding or this speech-to-text might have been used but anyway you're knocking all the translations except yours. Wow one day maybe I can be as self righteous and holy As You Are. Let me explain something. I was one of the biggest drug dealers in New Orleans and facing life in prison at one point still doing all the hard drugs I could and I came to the end of my rope. At that point I did not care what version of the Bible I had but I went into the woods for 4 months asking Christ to make himself real as I had heard the stories coming up and Catholic schools but never heard the gospel or had anyone witness to me but being desperate and hungry I would go out and throw a sheet out and get on my knees crying out and reading the New Testament five times over. I was born again on that private property that I was able to use 40 years ago using what I found out later was an NIV version. Then I bought a King James Version Study Bible and as long as you don't have one of the sodomite Bibles that eliminates many scriptures or the Jehovah Witness Bible that takes away the deity of Christ you will get saved. I have given my testimony and preached the gospel with 35 years teaching and preaching and the type of Bible really makes no difference but the King James is the closest to staying in line with the Virgin birth and walking in the spirit and a few other scriptures that other translations leave out. God gave me an inner-city Ministry and the ghetto for drug addicts and alcoholics like David Wilkerson in New York City and I saw countless Miracles as we housed and fed three houses full of big bad black men that had been drug dealers murderers and you name it. If they had another Bible other than the King James it did not matter because Souls we're getting saved. Now I'm with the school of Christ and 176 countries translated into 52 different languages where your Bible would not even fly because we have to preach in their language so the only place with the sacred name movement and Hebrew roots and other garbage caught type Bibles and beliefs is the backslidden apostate America. So it figures a squirrel like you would come out and speak as you did. It was the self-righteous who Christ had contention with and who also crucified him so I would rethink and repent of what you said as I challenge you to look up the school of Christ and how many people are still being saved from one man that covered the Earth starting at 70 years old after a 35-year pastorship and continued for 18 more years until his death but because of the Holy Ghost the ministry continues. I am in South America and again your so-called correct Bible would not make any difference here as we deliver the gospel in Spanish. Brother Clendenin started in Peruvia in this part of the world and it has made its way all the way down past Nicaragua where he got sick and had to go back to Texas and died at 88. So much for your false piety and pride that goes before a fall or possibly you're not even born again just part of a self-righteous cult that came out of the 7th Day Adventists in the 1920s. God bless you with humility and the grace to give to others instead of bragging and sticking what you think is correct in their face. If not you will have blood on your hands plus you will have to be judged according to your attitude and that doesn't look too good. We're in the last days and we don't need division in the matter you're bringing it and we certainly don't need a Jesuit priest as if you read the Jesuit oath it's bloody and they pledge to murder and kill every Protestant and you don't know that ???. No kid gloves for you I'm sorry, if you don't like what I said take it up with God who said all scripture is given by the Holy Spirit to the converting of Souls. God bless you with humility and the truth the life and the way. Brother Craig in South America

I was shocked to have seen this in my recommended as Fr. (then Deacon) Baugh was my RCIA instructor at BU's Catholic Center when I entered the Church back in 2019. I haven't spoken to him since then, as he went off to be ordained and I was a college freshman who was (and still is) not good at staying in touch with people. I entered RCIA not sure of Catholicism or Christianity, but genuinely seeking the Truth, and Fr. Baugh played an incredibly profound role in drawing me into the Faith. He was a great deacon and I'm sure he's a great priest, with many wise things to say. Not very often that you get to see someone that you know in a KZbin thumbnail!

I know exactly how you feel. One of the people that made such a profound and healing impact on my life was a Jesuit -- Fr. Bill McGarry, SJ. He was American from NY but had spent most of his life in Asia leading the seminaries there. He was the kindest, sweetest, most approachable priest and man I got to know. I guess I should be thankful that I've had such a positive experience w the priests I know and never encountered the bad abusive ones. Have to admit my Catholic faith has waned a bit, but not my love, respect and regard towards the Jesuits. Fr. Bill has since passed but he will always have a special place in my heart!

Hi Matt! Thanks for this enlightening interview with Fr. Baugh. I grew up with Jesuit education. I would like you the foundation of Jesuit education, which I keep close to my heart. 1. Ad maiorem Dei gloriam (AMDG). It Latin "For the greater glory of God," in Latin. This is the Jesuit's motto. 2. Magis. It's a Latin expression for "to be more." Jesuit education pushes you to pursue excellence in all aspects of life. 3. Be a man for others. Caring for all our neighbors is ingrained in a graduate's heart. 4. See God in all things. We must see God in all things, including the negative aspects of our life. The first step to seeing God is by having an attitude of gratitude. God bless!

A Jesuit is someone who interferes in religion, politics and culture. Their view, in their eyes, is the right view. Everyone else is wrong. They like to take measures, secretly, so that no one would know it was them, working behind the scenes. They like to believe that God willed their decisions. That they have been chosen. Or that God prefers their group of people, before other groups of people. God teaches us in scripture that nothing is hidden and truth should be shared. God so loved THE WORLD. That means all the people on the planet. We expose evil and warn others of danger. We don't sabotage others out of religious disagreement, greed, racism or jealousy. We don't murder, enslave or bear false witness against others. Finally, God did not give man the authority to secretly plot the downfall of others or manipulate outcomes to benefit myself or others I work for. We are to love others, like he loved us. I don't always agree with others beliefs. But I have learned that vengeance belongs to God alone. God is the only one who controls evil and good. Because His decisions always bring about the Greater Good. Because He is good.

@@danadams8857 Clever use of the word "opine." If you actually read it, you'd see that the JESUITS use that word in the title to the "Jesuit Extreme Oath of Induction." This is the Jesuit terminology, and not my opinion. One quick search of the topic will verify that. Yes, I do take issue with an oath that requires Jesuit mercenaries, at the pope's command, to slaughter Protestant "heretics" by any means possible, to rip open the wombs of their women, and to crush their infant's heads against walls. If you don't take issue with that, I'm scared to be sharing the earth with you. If you're a Romanist, please read the oath and at least know what's the "deep state" of the catholic church.

This is one of my favorite interviews on your channel thus far, with the disclaimer that I have not watched all. I wanted this to last longer. Recently I have been despondent, in the mids of the Hope of God's sovereignty, that the church is so divided and conflicted. Even though it is important for shepherds to run off wolves in an aggressive way. I feel that we at times beat sheep not from our own flock because they don't bear our brand. And while this is going on I have a strong conviction for seeking truth, and not letting what feels like important mistruths see the light of day. This struggle might be a reflection of my own sin of self-reliance. Relying mostly on my own understanding, my own interpretation, and my own convictions. These videos help me soften my gaze just a little to maybe see the calluses in my eyes, made by those wooden beams.

The Jesuits have been "the single most important contributor to experimental physics in the seventeenth century. They have contributed to the development of pendulum clocks, pantographs, barometers, reflecting telescopes and microscopes - to scientific fields as various as magnetism, optics, and electricity. They theorized about the circulation of the blood (independently of Harvey), the theoretical possibility of flight, the way the moon affected the tides, and the wave-like nature of light. The Jesuits introduced a substantial body of scientific knowledge and a vast array of mental tools for understanding the physical universe, including the Euclidean geometry that made planetary motion comprehensible.

Bros & Sis, consider this question: Why do non Catholic Christians believe that the Bible is definitely the inspired scriptures considering that the Bible was searched, sorted, selected, put together and declared to be the final books inspired by God, by the Catholic church from around 25k manuscripts (the original couldn't be found when the time the Bible was being put together). This process was under the guardianship and authority of the Pope. The books of the Bible were chosen and finalized with the authority of the Popes. So, why do non Catholic Christians use this Bible or at least its core (some Christians removed done books and changed some translations), that the Catholic church put together, through the Pope's finality of authority, instead of them just searching, sorting, selecting and putting together their own using their individual consciences and authority as they claim all good Christians can identify truth? The Bible is a Catholic created book and declared the true holy God inspired scriptures by the SOLE authority of the Pope. THEY USE THIS SAME BIBLE, SO IT IMPLIES THEY BELIEVE THAT THE POPE HAS THAT SAME AUTHORITY TO DECLARE TRUTH. AND NOW THEY BELIEVE (THIS BELIEF/ FALSE TEACHING/ WRONG LOGIC IS STARTED BY LUTHER) THE POPE DOESN'T HAVE THAT SAME AUTHORITY, AND THAT ALL TRULY FAITHFUL CHRISTIANS HAVE THAT AUTHORITY. THEN NON CATHOLIC CHRISTIANS EACH HAVE THEIR OWN IDENTIFICATION OF TRUTH AND INTERPRETATION OF THE SCRIPTURES. THIS IS WRONG RIGHT? Let's unite in truth. Being in truth will unite Christians.

@@larrylim8050 Given the aggressive tone and all-caps in your post, I highly doubt we're going to have a productive conversation. But in the interests of being kind and giving the benefit of the doubt: Suffice it to say that to non-Catholics, the protection of the bible has a lot more to do with God's intervention, than the specific people who did the work. The Early Church was also a very different entity to the Catholic Church of future centuries. Additionally, the scholarship that was done to produce the bible, can (at least to an extent) be traced back, considered and critiqued, and as Matt has highlighted in past videos, a lot of the decisions they made were pretty obvious from a scholarly perspective. We don't have arguments to dispute the core of that work. It isn't hard to agree with what were obviously sound decisions. That has no bearing on the areas of disagreement, which (while important to us) are relatively minor in the grand scheme of the bible and the belief system as a whole.
