It was good but waaay over priced. Carrera 54 is better IMO. Going to blind test them tonight on the Hombre Cave.

I live in Jalisco MX and visited Cascahuín last January. I’ve never seen it available through any of my retail connections (or the distillery). Good to know you’re not super excited. Moving on. Can’t wait to try some nice Carrera.

Way too expensive for $200+ , I agree it should be 60 to 80 at the most , I enjoyed it but I got it at cascahuin so I didn't over pay cheers hombre

It appears that you are more bitter that you had to pay for it. There is no doubt that this bottle will become a collectible that will drive prices up since he placed a great deal of emphasis on the cost, but he did not mention that this is a limited edition, only mentioning that the distillery issues limited editions. That's incorrect. I'm more upset that it's priced so high as it's severely overpriced for what you get. Limited edition or not this can be made again in less than a week.

That is a lot of money for a blanco tequila, unless it is truly something special. For that price, I could get some incredible whisky, or two or three bottles of great mezcal, bacanora, or raicilla. I'm not a cheapskate when it comes to booze, but it has to live up to the price. I just discovered this channel as I was doing some research on tequila. It is time for me to restock and upgrade the tequila in my booze collection. Mezcal has been my go-to Mexican spirit lately. I have found that tequila can cause a headache or a mildly upset stomach, while mezcal never bothers me. I think some of the additives present in tequila, but absent from the mezcal that I usually drink, might explain this. Unfortunately, most of the prominent and readily available tequilas are loaded with additives. I'll have to take a list of additive-free tequila brands with me and visit a tequila bar or two, and then stop by Old Town Tequila and get tempted to buy too much booze. Reviews on this channel are giving me some ideas for tequilas to try, and if I stick with the additive-free ones, I don't think they will make me sick. I might not buy a bottle of the tequila in this review due to the price, but if I see it at a bar, I'll give it a try. It certainly sounds good.

If you shop at Fermentandstill.com online anything you buy from them doesn't have additives. They only stock additive free tequilas. I agree.. I will spend money on good tequila but this one is disappointing.

@@TheTequilaHombre That is good to know. Thanks. If anything, it will be a good reference. I live close enough to San Diego that I can visit Old Town Tequila in person and not have to deal with shipping, but it's good to have options in case I want something and can't find it locally.

Over hyped! Great flavor innovation from the producers. But at 200-300 per bottle cash grab at the retailers. Save your money not worth it at all. Max I would pay for it 80 -90, that’s it.

Cas grab is from the importer. Wholesale cost is $155 and it's heavily allocated to the retailers driving the prices up even higher. Thanks for watching..
