The organist kind of messed this up. It was like he was trying to rush the message to get to his next church.

in all fairness, most new age church organists don't know how to follow traditional/old school preachers properly, esp if they're young. Everybody is so used to driving now, can't do that with every preacher esp his kind (frank ray), gotta slow walk them!

@@brandongriffin5428 most of them are driving, that's the trend and it's been that way for at least over a decade. Even your pseudo-traditional whooping preachers have slowly transitioned into that trend. The style of preaching like frank ray, jasper Williams, cl Franklin, Donald parsons...they tuned first then whoop, that's why we always thought the organist came in late back in the day, they weren't late just letting the preacher lay his tracks and build towards the apex key he wanted, then they'd come in. That's the traditional style of whooping. Now, preachers just "touch your neighbor" and after the 3rd/4th one, they in full gear. Not to mention, 90% of organists with these preachers start off in full drawbar mode as soon as they come in lol. not saying its bad or wrong, just different.

@@lpo-ze5iz jasper said in his day good preaching was about how well you hooped but today it is about the depth of your messages. The Baptist preacher used to be the standard for preaching but I think with the rise of the Pentecostal movements of the 90s people want the organ screaming and a preacher hollering. I think today needs preachers to challenge the mind with quality teaching, not sure the masses of people are ready to think in church
