​@@shannonwestern8001same. Read the books back in 2014-2016 and she was my absolute favorite. I love how Charlize brought her to life (and even though it's so far off from the books, I am glad they didn't make Leonora look like her book version or it would've been a bit awkward)

The acting was alright, the cgi was fine, but they took out all the best parts of the books and swapped them with boring dialogue, weird characters, and did a bad job of explaining the world to new fans. The books were an amazing, sweet story that were super thought out and have a fascinating world, while the movie was just strange

i never read the books and understood it really well. Although now that i am onto the first book, they have taken so much out and it makes me sad but i still really enjoyed it overall

that’s what I keep saying!! They took good parts and replaced them with the most useless things!! That or they altered random things that were crucial. They replaced the Beast and Sophie killing it (a key part of the books as it sorta opens up Sophie’s evil side) and replaced him with LESSO. and I love Lesso to an unhealthy extent but that was definitely not the right part to add her. Plus, where was the circus of talents?? Literally so important. As for altering, what happened with the trial by tale???? Ngl Hester was kiiiiinda important in the end of it- which brings me to the coven. LITERALLY WHERE WERE THEY. they had, what, 6 scenes maybe? Book 1 is the one where they’re shown the most, and like- what??

I read that it was an antique cane which was loaned to Charlize by the director only for the scene 😢 That's why she looked terrified once it broke

I really think that the movie has a lot of potential, if the story line was not rushed. Coz Ive read the books and the story was so reviting. ❤️❤️❤️❤️I understand because its really hard to adopt books to film yet the movie t'was engaging. I'm hoping for the sequel and praying that they will write the plot better this time. I mean, the important and turning points/events in the book to the movie for it be solid. ❤️😉 I love #SofiaWylie. 😍😍😍 Because of her and this movie #SchoolForGoodAndEvil I started and finished in 1week time the 6 books of Soman Chainani. The fastest I've read in my life..😄 Anyways, the actors are really good and the CGI is fine, just the story for me but over-all 8/10 for this movie.. 🤗👌

If they make one 😅 I mean they literally killed the overarching villain of books 1-3 in movie 1 while (loosely) sticking to book 1's storyline

They left out a part that definitely shows Tedros falling for Agatha, were he saves her from the vines! They also missed the Circus. There also wasn't a School Master that Showed. Overall acting was good though.
