The thing that sets Chris Webby apart is the fact that he speaks on shit befor its already super controversal and debated, and is far more creative with his delivery. Tom macdonald tends to touch on subjects that weve heard plenty of times and which has already been heavily touched on throughout social media. Webby actually speaks from his heart and wants to shed light on shit, while tom just uses the most popular controversial/known topics at the time in order to reel simple minded people in(in the least creative way possible). He is independent who does all of his own marketing who on average Drops 2 videos a month. And just Dropped two full length albums i think he can afford to drop a few songs that pander to the algorithm. What gets me is people who have a problem with it. I mean one can argue that Tom MacDonald has been consistent while Webby has been pandering to the mass public opinion. When Trump was in office and it was a trend to hate on him, his raw thoughts went off on him and Republicans. Now it's popular to hate on Biden and the Democratic Leftists, so his Raw Thoughts reflects it. Personally I'm a fan off both, but when it comes to the smoothness of flow and cadence, Webby just sounds better. However, I don't need to discredit Tom for his style and what he does. If you don't like his music, then you don't like his music, but to go out of your way to hate on his beliefs, which have been consistent, seems like you're doing exactly what Webby was talking about in the starting and ending verse of this track.

I've been hearing that comparison a lot lately between Webby and MacDonald. Honestly I can see where if you just compare the two as rappers that push a lot of politically charged content, ok cool. But ultimately I can't see why the two can be compared beyond that. Webby has been in the game for well over a decade and has a massive range when it comes to his music. Tom is pretty much, just riding the political/controversial angle which... do what you do and get your money fam. Ultimately, Tom made a song called "I Hate Hip Hop" and Webby has mentioned in his songs that he does what he does because he's got a love for HipHop and thats why Webby's music is so much better. When youre doing what you love in a way to make a living off it instead of just riding a gimmick to cash a check, your product will always be higher quality.
