I know I am mad late to the party, but the movie you are referencing is Million Dollar Baby. The boxer from Cinderella Man was Braddock, and the movie was about the second resurgence in his boxing career. He lived a pretty normal life well into his 60's. I think Em was referencing his old song from recovery, but more likely this was a play on the fantasy theme with the scheme. Peter Pan with Neverland and then Cinderella. He has no plans for another shot like Cinderella Man had in his career, he wants it all now while he still the champ. Doesn't want to fall and have to get it again.
