Billie and her brother, Finneas, write all their music together. This “studio” version of the vocals were recorded in a bunk on their tour bus. Her EP and entire first album were recorded and produced in her brother’s bedroom. They tried recording in a real studio once and hated it. They also refuse to use any pitch correction on her voice so what you hear recorded is pretty much what you get live. I actually think her live performance of this song at the Brit Awards is even better. You should check it out.
@toniasmith47304 жыл бұрын
Thanks for writing this - i saw a comment above that said Finneas wrote this song, which as you know is false - they wrote it together. There are only like 2 or 3 songs out of her entire catalogue that was written by Finneas alone...first one was her breakout song Ocean Eyes! Now if we want to talk about producing all if her songs, that’s Finneas!! Thanks again for explaining it! 💚

Billie and her brother Finneas wrote the song while on tour on their bus. And yes they went through previous Bond themes to stay true to the Bond sound. Also this was a goal of theirs to do a Bond theme so when they were given the chance they jumped on it. Billie does a cover of 'The End of the World - Radio 1 Piano Sessions' and it's just a great performance by her!

Hans Zimmerman was part of making the orchestra arrangements for this. From what I have understood he has been part of the bond songs for a long time. He was also on stage with Billie and Finneas when they performed this in Britt awards directing the orchestra there. That performance is worth to watch too. I really hope we get to see more Billie from you now. I'm really curious to see what you think from her videos to Burry a friend and Good girls goes to hell....and Hostage...and Lovely...and When the party is over and well I guess I could listen your take from all her videos. But those mentioned in here have also video storyline that I think you will enjoy to breakdown based on your take with NF's Leave me alone.
