Side by side We stand like brothers One for all and all together We will stay united through darker days And we'll be unbeatable forever Ireland, Ireland Together standing tall Shoulder to shoulder We'll answer Ireland's call! Come the day and come the hour Some will live in song and story We were born to follow our guiding star And to beat our destiny with glory Ireland, Ireland Together standing tall Shoulder to shoulder We'll answer Ireland's call! Hearts of steel and heads are bowing Vowing never to be broken We will fight, until we can fight no more 'Til our final requiem is spoken Ireland, Ireland Together standing tall Shoulder to shoulder We'll answer Ireland's call! Ireland, Ireland Together standing tall Shoulder to shoulder We'll answer Ireland's call! We'll answer Ireland's call!

@@jimreilly917 Wasn't that an incredibly generous gift for them to make? What compassionate, loving people they were! Have you seen the monument that the Irish erected to honor that gesture? I wish we could post pictures here; I'd love to share it, but you can find it by keying "Choctaw sculpture in Ireland" in Google Images. It's especially beautiful at night, when the lights are on. Brilliant performance! I am a Scot, and some of my most trusted friends are Irish. I am glad to see this group embrace their Celtic history, by the wearing of the kilt. Many people don't realize that the Irish do wear the kilt, the difference being that as to the Scottish kilt is tartan, the kilt of the Irishman is one solid color, until you go into Ulster, where many Scottish clans settled after Cromwell swept through the Scottish highlands, forcing out many of the most rebellious clans during a time in history known as the Highland Clearences. As a result of that, you can find many tartans in Northern Ireland today.

My people on my dads side were thrown out of Scotland by Cromwell. One adult and eight of his children were invited to immigrate to America as indentured servants (slaves). Their term was ten years. His wife and three babies were left behind. No idea what happened to them. Ireland and Scotland are my heritage. I worry for them both in todays political world.

I always love the performance of this song, it's such a strong and meaningful sense of love and prIde! I am American, and my family has been here for generations, but through the genealogy trace on both of my parents ancestors, revealed that my mother's side came here from Scotland, and my father's came here directly from Ireland. It gave me a great sense of connection and explanation I feel, of why I have always had such a profound interest and love of a beautiful land that I have never been to, but hope to one day. Just looking at videos of the beautiful Irish landscape, has always stirred such peace and harmony within my soul ❤️💚☘️

Nobody cares you almost certainly just had ALL your most sensitive details hacked and leaked in those moronic DNA tracing services. If your last name doesn't tell you where your family's from, then you deserve to get robbed. Stop affirming Ireland's skirt, err, kilt history. It needs to get relegated to history. It is a skirt...full stop. Ireland, PLEASE move on

It seems like those who have a special gift that they share with others are always gone way to early.
