Disney's Festival Of The Holidays Cookie Stroll At EPCOT & The BEST Holiday Ride Overlay!

In today's vlog we head to Disney's EPCOT to do the Festival of the Holidays Cookie Stroll! We had 5 Christmas cookies and we tried some savory food from the festival too! We also rode the Living With The Land Glimmering Greenhouses Holiday Overlay! I think this is my favorite holiday ride overlay at Walt Disney World! It was so amazing to meet Tim at Epcot! He was so kind and really took time to chat with me and my family (even though I was completely starstuck and awkward!) It was the highlight of our trip. Black and white cookies do tend to have a hint lemon/citrus since a lot of recipes use a little lemon. They're one of my all time favorite cookies. They taste just like childhood to me 🥰

Black and White cookies have lemon zest in the icing and snickerdoodles have cream of tartar, which is an acid. That's why both have a citris hint.

Thank you for doing this video. We did the Cookie Stroll while we were there, but we saved most of each cookie. We had to ride Guardians also and didn't want to get sick. 😄 I loved the Alfajores and the Black and White cookie. The line for the Chocolate Crinkle and Linzer were too long, but we got our 5 stamps. The Guardians pin was a nice bonus. Loved Living with the Land lit up. Happy Holidays Trackers!

Woo those tostones should not be that tough to eat (normally) haha. Mad props getting through all of those cookies. Last year the lindzer cookie I got was good but the "jelly" was more like a fruit roll up consistency...just all one piece that fell out of the cookie lol. I love the holiday layover in The Land❤️. I have yet to see the holiday light show on Spaceship Earth this holiday. We'll be there on New Year's Eve so hopefully I can see it then😁. Super fun day! Huge hugs and love to you guys xoxo

Snickerdoodles have cream of tartar which is acidic and can give a citrus flavor. I personally don’t like snickerdoodles because the citrus is all I taste.

The way he says dulce de Leche and pernil kills Me . I was correcting him every time. The tostones with pernil would be much better if it was made fresh and hot. They are hard because they are cold. When they are hot they are soft. There is a restaurant 5 minutes outside of disney springs called Pal Campo. You should try it. Authentic Puerto Rican food.

A snicker doodle is a sugar cookie with cinnamon and sugar sprinkled on top, right?

Normally, yes. Sugar cookie type with cream of tartar added. Rolled into a ball and rolled in cinnamon sugar before baking. The Snickersdoodle here didn’t taste like a traditional Snickerdoodle to me. More like a le only sugar cookie with a chocolate drizzle and some Snickers crumbles.
