Jenn, congratulations on your 10k!!!! That's totally awesome and I hope you've caught the running bug! Tim, I've ran multiple races at Walt Disney World, and the 10k distance is the only one that is terrible for transportation.... Literally every other race distance begins and ends at Epcot with its HUGE parking lot. And I'm sure you guys have seen how accommodating Disney is for spectators for the half marathon and marathon distances. Anyways, both of you remember signup for marathon weekend is April 26 at noon! Choose your distances early

a good walking plan, start at the end of the Epcot parking lot, walk through starting at the left, leave Epcot, go through the Epcot hotels, walk to Hollywood studios from the boardwalk, go around the entire park, then backtrack and leave Epcot from the right half of the park

I think Mickey's Holiday 5k at Animal Kingdom from the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend would be a fun one for you to do, plus it's at your favorite Disney park (If I recall correctly). Don't think of it as just running/walking, but instead as a new Disney experience. It's not like you gotta do it again if you don't enjoy it the first time. I'm sure the majority of your viewers would love to see you in a runDisney race. Jenn did her share of fitness, so now it's time for YOU Tim Tracker to pay the price! I did the princess 5K in February! Ran for like a minute or two then just walked the rest of the 3 miles. Had about a 15/20 minute mile. It was such a cool experience!

Start at the front of Hollywood Studios, walk through DHS, back up front, walk the path from DHS to Epcot, all the way around Epcot, and back to DHS.

To answer your parking question Tim...27,000 ran the half yesterday, 11,000 parking spots at Epcot. Also running on the highway is pretty much a necessity because the smaller paths get so congested. But still, they definitely need to do something. I heard one guy saying he got stuck in traffic on a bus for 3 hours! If you can swing it, stay at a boardwalk area resort for your 5k - no buses!

Tim, you could totally do a 5k! I've done 5 already and I just walked them all. I don't know why, but they decided to switch the course for all races this race series. During princess and the marathon weekend, the 10k started in Epcot, went around the Epcot resorts and then back into Epcot to finish.

Yanni wrote music for Disney to work in the fountain behind, not in front of Spaceship Earth, he wrote several scores for the dancing fountain. When they were debuting the music or shortly after it, Yanni visited Epcot with his then girlfriend Linda Evans. They went around in a convertible sitting on the backseat sill. This was around 1995, I was there.

Hey Tim and Jenn. Penny for your thought. Being Canadian, we use the metric system for measurement. The US still uses imperial. In Canada we measure speed in kilometres per hour and not miles per hour. 1 Kilometre = 0.62 Miles. When Americans refer to running a 5K, are you in fact running a 5 mile race? A true 5k race is in fact only 3.1 mile in length. I hate math and numbers. Not sure why I even brought up the discussion.
