They will do that at the parks, too, if you ask. You may have to explain that you'd like them to film vs take pictures (which they will also do if you ask) with your camera, but they will do it! 🙂

Parenthood is constantly changing the needs you require. When the kids were small we always looked for quiet rooms and areas. Then as they got older, and would enjoy shows and stuff like that, we would have loved to have a room like the one you guys are in as it's free entertainment and small-ish to older kids might really like it. Then as teenagers we want to be in the hustle of everything. Our last trip to Florida a few years ago now, we were walking around Disney springs in the later evening just soaking it all in. Now that they are almost grown/is grown, our tastes change again back to the quiet again so we can be up early and see all the day time sights. We also have sensory issues in our crew, so trying to go places at the least crowded times was also super important to us. It is a learning journey 100%.

I don't know about Aulani-specific tours, but when I went to Hawaii and stayed at another resort, we booked an island tour that picked you up at whatever hotel you were staying at- you had a meeting spot near all the hotels in one area, you walked to the bus (practically right outside), and were driven around the island.

When we went to Hawaii with our toddler we made a stop in San Francisco for a few days so the time change wouldn’t feel so drastic. (We’re from Toronto so same time zone as Orlando)

Hawaii looks so beautiful, you are lucky to be able to be there and do all these great things. Thanks for sharing your adventures, we love them ! As far as getting Jackson on Hawaii schedule, he will probably get on it the day before you go home and then you’ll have to reverse it all or he will be up until 2 o’clock in the morning when you get home LOL. Hi Tim & Jenn...I'm so happy that my Mom was able to go to Hawaii with her friend before passing on to Paradise Heaven in 2013..she got to see all the Islands 🌴 🥥 and she loved it she said people there were so nice and she made friends 😊...I know I'll never be able to go there but because of you 2..& Jackson..I get to see it..that sunset was one of the most beautiful I've ever seen..I'm enjoying everything..thanks 😊 Love 💕 to you all

My goodness...it's like non-stop fun!! I love the hula dancers (so, so beautiful). Disney looks like they knocked it out of the park with still having the Disney experience even without the rides. Just so gorgeous there. The luau looks like a great time too! Yeah if it's loud my son definitely wouldn't have been able to sleep (he was a very light sleeper) when he was little. It's funny because he's turning 18 in February and he's slept with a white noise machine in his room since he was a newborn haha. Huge hugs and love to you guys xoxo.
