Touring The Pirate Museum In St. Augustine Florida! | Real Pirate Treasure & More!

In today's vlog we head to the St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum! We got the chance to tour the museum and take a closer look at real pirate's treasure, everyday items they used on voyages and even a real treasure chest that's over 400 years old, you can even touch it! There was a lot of really cool information and lots of awesome things to look at. We think if you're looking for something to do outside of the Orlando bubble, you should definitely come to St. Augustine. There's so much to see and do here and there's lots of history! I live not far from St. Augustine and I lived there briefly. I didn't even know about the pirate museum! That looks like a neat bit of history in there. I may have to make the trip down to check it out. Always something fun, funny and entertaining with Tim and Jenn. You motivate me to want to travel and get out and do fun things more. I get anxiety being in busy places, so your videos give me the chance to see places I might not typically go. Even my 67yr old mother has started watching your videos with me and asks every day "Did Tim and Jenn make a new video? I want to see what they're eating today." She watches for the food content. I watch for the locations and the interaction between the two of you. You're a very charming couple and seem like the kind of down to earth people I admire and appreciate.

This must be new since we visited St. Augustine in the beginning of 1998, I can't see us missing it. Anyone who visits Florida should absolutely take time to visit this charming & historical city, you won't regret it. We made sure to drop by the Fountain of Youth & picked up a bottle :)

I love this place so much! At Mcrae elementary, they use to take all the 4th grade classes on a field trip there and to Ripley's. Such an awesome experience for our young minds! I'm glad you got to experience it too!

We walked around there early in January this year on a brisk, windy day. Had a gross coffee from a coffee spot near the Pirate Museum. Checked out the Ripley's Odditorium. Raised a toast at the Red Lion (?) to commemerate the very first trip to St. Augustine we took as a couple back in 1991. We just love St. Augustine and can't wait to go back. Hey Tim (and Jenn)- this clip brought us back to our trip a couple years ago. That first skull drawer area was a particularly fun reminder-our youngest ran right into the glass wall thinking she could enter the space, luckily she was fine and we now laugh about it. We decided to stop in St. Augustine because of your suggestion. We only stayed for 2 days before heading off to Disney- but cannot wait until our next trip down (and will definitely stay a bit longer- didn’t realize how much there was to do). We go to St. Augustine regularly. Love the pirate museum and the fort. Recommend the ghost tours in St. Augustine and also the ghost hunters style tour at the lighthouse. All the tours have some very interesting stories and history
