I was not a local, but can confirm Scorpion was my first looping coaster. I was 7 years old and I stared at it for so long to make sure no one fell out at the top of the loop. After getting off I asked to ride again 😂

I just question the logic of making it only one train operation. I think adding a block zone to the last break run and making it two train ops would have been better for hourly capacity.
@0REDSOX75 ай бұрын
100% agree. It reminds of Kiddie Hawk at Carowinds. One train ops there and it TAKES FOREVER to cycle - especially with younger riders who may not understand exactly what to do to get on/off.

My 4 year old went on Dragonflier at Dollywood for her first "real" coaster. It is also an inverted family coaster but by Vekoma. It was quite intense, she says she enjoyed it, but there was no more roller coaster riding the rest of the day afterwards haha!

@@TheTimTracker awesome I am sure you’re going to love all the free space that opens up in your peak design camera bag. 😁 also you can pair an additional DJI Mic 2 so you and Jen can have your own mic 🎤 synced to the pocket 3. I love mine they are really slick and convenient to carry.

Good evening Tim from the United Kingdom it is 8:15 looks like more than a family coaster that was pretty intense. I don’t think that is suitable for a child. That’s my opinion. Great as usual. Can’t wait to go to Busch Gardens in a month time when we come to Disney, on the 2nd of September hopefully will bump into you and we can say hello great video
@joleneshank31255 ай бұрын
This is similar to Dragon Flier at Dollywood! While thats a fun little coaster, the down side is that its such a slow loading ride bc theyre isnt enough ride time for 2 train cars. Thats why ive only ridden it once since its been open and us going to Dollywood every year...the wait just gets too long for short ride

How does this compare in intensity to cobras curse? Asking for my 5 and 8 year old lol
@Ash.Sean.Taylor2 ай бұрын
It's a little bit more forgiving in my experience. Cobrahs Curse makes me nauseous but this is super fun. Do note though, Pheonix Rising has more airtime moments compared to Cobrahs Curse so if you're worried about that feeling of lifting out of your seat, just be cautious.

Do you know or remember off-hand, what the new Phoenix Rising Coaster is replacing or tak8ng the place of inside Busch Gardens, or what they had to move or get rid of altogether to make room for this new coaster??
@Savlawr025 ай бұрын
It replaced sand serpent, phoenix boat ride and some kiddie rides
@Adrian-Maxwell5 ай бұрын
It seems more like a transition coaster, more than a “family coaster.” The term family coaster makes me feel like a kid should be able to ride it without much “training” (for lack of better term.) Meanwhile this seems like they need experience with some decently intense rides. Jackson has had a good amount of experience, so I could see him riding it… but I couldn’t imagine it being Oliver’s first (obviously Oliver isn’t big enough or anything, just an example.)

I have the motto that just because young children are “tall enough” to ride intermediate coasters like this one & Pequin Trek, doesn’t mean they are both mentally & physically old enough to actually enjoy these more intense rides. Maybe wait until he’s six then that will allow him enough time to get ready for it. And also not everyone has the biology to love & enjoy these as everyone’s body is different. Some crave the adrenalin rush while others avoid it. When I used to ride coasters I knew what my body could tolerate and what it couldn’t.

Not gonna lie, I'm kinda getting sick of "family" coaters. Just make good actual roller coasters please. It's becoming too much of a trend to make weak coasters lately. There are more than enough kiddie coasters at the parks already.
