We got to the parking garage yesterday around 4:00. A woman had passed out and medics and security were working on her. Those who witnessed it and offered assistance before the medics arrived said she was burning hot and likely had heat stroke. She hit face first. For those who don’t understand, the high temps and dew points can be dangerous, so please hydrate with water/electrolytes.

@@giabocchino9892 glad you’re ok. When you start feeling like that, be sure to sit down immediately (to keep from being injured in a fall) in a shady location or one with AC (even better) and hydrate.

The wand should actually be pretty simple to fix because all it is, is a retroreflector ball on the end of a solid wand. Allen Pan has a good video where he actually makes a working wand out of a hotdog. I would recommend looking into repairing it yourself.

I went to Universal two days ago and the longest wait time was Velocicoaster with a 75 minute wait time, even Hagrids had a 65 minute wait. Mummy only took like 5-10 minutes with express

Honestly I wouldn’t trade your wand 1) because of sentimental value and 2) there’s a possibility the current wands will be, potentially outdated anyway once the new spell system comes lol. I would give it some time and then let Jackson pick his own wand, that’ll be much more special I think.

My oldest was picked at Ollivander's for his wand years ago and they no longer carry his style either. I asked on a recent trip what would happen if it stopped working and they mentioned that there are repair options on Etsy. I haven't looked, but perhaps it's inexpensive and may be an option to explore to get the wand working again. 👍
