I occasionally use the “less dry” for things that I’m not supposed to dry in the dryer 😂 So I use that option to get it less wet, then hang it until it’s fully dry. I know it doesn’t make sense, and I’m probably ruining the fabric anyway. But in my head it makes sense 😅

Clothes nerd here I use "damp dry" all the time... damp pants can be stretched to my inseam, keeps cotton from shrinking so much, and prevents fragile fabrics from wrinkling if you lay out flat til dry. And... most fabrics can be blocked (gently stretched and flattened to dry) so you can lengthen the arms, change the shape of a garment, and generally widen any clothing after the holidays! Merry Everything to you and yours!

Reason for the different settings for dryer is because for type of fabric you are drying. Cotton and rayon light dry. Towels and blankets you dry higher temperature and longer.

Dryer vents to the outside should be cleaned atleast once a year. While the dryness level does seem insane there is a purpose for it. If you wear button down shirt or things that may require ironing you want to do "less" dry. This keeps wrinkles from setting in and makes ironing easier. You can also hang them while a bit damp and skip the iron.
@jlsmith99742 жыл бұрын

Love a home vlog! Jenn, to make the windows seem larger in babies room you just have to hang the curtain rod a bit higher and double up the panels on the sides and it gives the illusion of a larger window. I cannot wait to see the transformation. Ship lap will add some nice texture.

Auto dry function is used depending on the fabric. So for instance if you over dry cottons it’s very hard to the iron the creases out. Ideally cottons should be dried until the have 10% moisture then ironed, this moisture creates steam and gives you a nicer finish. This is how restaurants and hotels have such crisp linens. Extra dry is good if you have a mixed load, as the sensors might measure some dryness and stop, so at extra dry it will measure dry but then carry on going for a set amount of time. Perfect for things like jumpers with think cuffs etc. I work in the commercial laundry industry

I'm in UK and following a lot of dryers setting on fire the advice was to clean out the vents every time you used it. There were several cases of houses being set on fire because of the dryers setting on fire. I use the less dry cycle on things that are hard to iron if they are very dry, such as cotton bed sheets or shirts. Happy New Year to you all.

I think that once the baby is mobile ( 6-10 months of real mobility) they can play together in the same room. I have three beautiful grandchildren all under 7, my oldest grandson Peyton turned 7 on December 1, and our beautiful granddaughter Riley is 3 1/4 years old and our youngest grandson baby Miko is 10 months and very active ready to walk. Anyway he ( baby Miko,) plays with a lot of her toys and they play together somewhat lol, and share the same play space at this point. So it can be done where they share the same play space at certain age intervals.

I didn’t clean the dryer vent for ten years in my house until the dryer started to not dry my clothes, then took a look inside the vent and found it was plugged by a birds nest with eggs. Fun slide fact: When we were kids there was one of those big slides that you went down on burlap sacks. I went from a 2000 sq foot home in North Carolina that had a closet in every bathroom, a large hall closet, and two attic closets, to a 2400 sq foot home in Orlando that has a (very small) closet in one bathroom and a half closet downstairs that holds about 5 coats. And that's it!!! We have so much stuff hidden under beds and had to buy those gladiator racks for our garage to put stuff up

Some things like sweaters Or shirts that may shrink should not be dried completely in the machine. Or Pants that you don’t want to get wrinkled but don’t want to hang them completely wet, a slight drying helps. So instead of having to keep an eye on these things you just put on the less dry option in case you forget.
