You may have answered this before but did you have a baby shower (adoption shower) when you got Josiah? We are adopting baby #1 in November and my family wants to throw me a shower but I feel weird about it since I'm not pregnant...but it would also be nice to get some help with the baby gear gifts.

Congrats on your match how exciting! We did not have a shower with Joziah because of covid. We were planning on doing a shower/sip & see after we were placed with him so that family could meet him but it never happened. I think showers are fine for adoption and certainly helpful. it all just depends on what you’re comfortable with.
