Personally, I don’t see why people think making Tord a villain is as “disrespectful” as they’d claim. because the way I see it, the character of Tord is just based off Tord Larson, it’s not like Larson in real life is actually a villainous trigger happy warlord like the character in Eddsworld, and a lot of people seem to prefer to separate the characters from the show from the real life people their based off of. Also I hope that if The Red Leader (Tord) actually ends up appearing in Super Average, that he’d be voiced by Tord’s voice actor from The End (Jamie Lewis spicer) !

Yeah, i agree with you, the characters from the series are simply based on their real-life counterparts. But at this point, i think is better to let Tord (both the character and Tord Larsson) alone.

I get what you mean but Tord himself did ask to not to be back in the show when he left because he just wanted to not have a character who represented him keep wandering around. And no one even knows how Tord is since he practically vanished from all social media. If anything I think it’s best to just leave the animated character Tord alone as well (and ofc the actual person)

Me too But it would be because of exitement (because Eddsworld) and sadness (because Eddsworld) I would be very sad that the series ended along with the life of someone very important but still happy because it's one of TomSka's creations (he's one of my fav youtubers) and something that is developped in the universe of his dearest friend (that is the way he remembers him)

I like this idea of a tv show in the eddsworld universe. I do kinda hope that Jamie spicer Lewis does voice red leader like he voiced Tord because that would make it better in my opinion. Also, I think you’d be a great voice actor!

Tbh, all these comments I agree, the character Tord becoming a villain is not like being disrespectful to the actual person Tord Larson. His character is just a cartoon character and they just wanna make his character important again and tbh, I love the idea of Red Leader, I hope it won't be scrapped cause it's not like they hate Tord, they just wanna make the show more interesting and fun. And besides it was Edd's idea of Red Leader before he died. So if they scrap Red Leader, they're gonna scrap Edd's ideas. He made all of us happy and we'll always will love Edd no matter what for giving us so much inspiration and happiness❤

I think that "Removing Red Leader" character meant something else. I think this meant that there won't be Red Leader, but there will be TORD. He can have different desgin, and won't be called Red Leader, but its still gonna be Tord. I’d like to add extra information I just found. In “Last Week I Made Markiplier Scream”, around the 1:20 mark, Tom reveals part of the treatment for Super Average. It isn’t much, but it reveals the names for the characters (Jet and Ash) as well as a few episode ideas.

Not really. I made a video about that a while ago (it’s quality has aged quite poorly but the info is still accurate). Tom is no longer involved with Eddsworld, Matt wants to continue it and has been working on new episodes for a while.

Honestly I’m not looking forward for this for the sake of tord. I get many people are excited to see tords character back into Eddsworld but I’m just not all excited for it because I feel bad. Tord ( the real one ) specifically did ask to not be put back into the show when he left but Edd did animate him still in the show just as little Easter eggs. I just feel like that’s it’s best to leave Tord (both real and character) alone at this point. I’m also not very fond of seeing him being a villain although I understand why he is a villain because of his character within the show from past episodes, but I just never liked the idea I guess. He is my favorite character but not because he was “edgy hot evil man” but because of well the real person even though we may not know much of the actual Tord and a few past older episodes when Tord was still in Eddsworld

They shouldn't scrapped the show or the Red Leader character cause it's Edd's creation, just because they thinks that his character being evil is "disrespectful" to him doesn't mean they can force them to scrap Edd's idea and creation, so that's more disrespectful, Edd is gone and his hard work is being scrapped for a dumb reason just over a cartoon character becoming a villain, so I say they keep the Red Leader character, cause no matter what stuff Edd goes through he always wanted to make cartoons for us and I say that Super Average and the Red Leader character stays! Cause this is what Edd would of wanted, he would want to still entertain us even if he's gone but his work and inspiration is still alive inside of us and we shouldn't let a small argument ruin everything
