@@adventsociety5382 A 2017 BMW 750i. It too was a great ca, but all of the new tech in the 760i makes it far superior to the 750i. It also drives better (more comfortable/smoother).

On the new, I think the tech is the only thing that would compel me to buy. It is essentially a spaceship and looks like one. I don’t mind it. In fact, the bold redesign is growing on me.

Great video, I did Not expect you to drive it like that at all! Lol! But you gave a pretty good impression of it’s capabilities. I drove one of these this weekend and I walked away very impressed. You can feel the quality and care that BMW put into this car. The only gripe I had was that the rear view mirror should be a video mirror because you can’t see anything with the rear shade up. It actually looks pretty good in person, it has a menacing look in all black. I like it. Some won’t. Oh well!

The Ford Bronco Bronco is another one. I saw no complaints. But I guess people have their own tastes I have to say that in my opinion, the interior blows everything out the water. I don’t know what you’re talking about on that one.

And it's interior is a Museum compared to this ...Disgrace! @@highwaystar3780 maybe you’re right. I owned BMWs for about the last 10 or 12 years and the 7 was nice but I wasn’t really all that impressed mainly because it looked like a larger 5 series. I do have to admit that the 20 to 22 models were very impressive, especially the 760i ,in my opinion they could have kept the exterior the same and updated the interior. I guess the real reason I like this one so much is mainly the interior. All BMWs we’re starting to look the same inside and kind of outdated compared to the other luxury manufacturers, namely Mercedes. Could it be improved? Sure it could.

I too was impressed with the BMW’s return to what appeared to be extremely tight and effective driving modes for those who command that regardless of vehicle. While I am not a prospective buyer for this car, I am pleased that it’s an option to revive BMW’s feeling/handling reputation….My last BMW was an E39 M5…I had an 1988 M5 prior to that. The brand has progressed in a direction I have not been a fan of. That said, the car in question here (2023 760i xD) looks to truly rival the Rolls Ghost but a slightly more lithe and sculpted body. The interior exudes practical luxury. “Practical” - What does that mean now??? Overall an impressive vehicle at least from afar.

Best example for BMW losing their "BMWness" is the Z4 / Supra: the Supra, despite being literally the same car with a different body, drives and handles far better then the Z4; it feels like a proper sports car, a proper BMW as we knew from the early 2000s.

I just bought an M850 and my next was going to be a 7 series, unfortunately there are two things about this car that just haven't grown on me, the front end and the instrument cluster. I get it the curved screen is supposed to try to modernize BMW, however it's at the cost of the sculpted interiors I've loved for decades. While I would love the tech and vibes of this car, I find my self looking back at the outgoing 7 series which I'll more than likely purchase off of a gently used lease... unless BMW adapts the interior design to integrate the fabulous tech with the sculpted interiors that have always spoken to me.

Definitely cool. Don’t mind the look at all and it definitely has more road presence than the previous one. The engine sounded great and it looks like they really made this thing a dual purpose machine. However, I still have the same issue with this car that I do with the S class. It’s a disposable gimmick machine for the rich. This thing will probably be in a junk yard or on the road but so many things not working in 5 years. Finally, this engine needs to be stout. No spun rods, timing guide issue or cylinder scoring because they didn’t develop it right. Great video as usual!

@@gettcouped I own X5 50I model and I can tell you one of best engines I tried so far in any car, so smooth, so relaxing yet can be engaging to drive, never had any issues with it and feels very solid in build, so far lasted about 4 years easily, my brother owns also X7 50i same situation no issues for 3 years now

It's good that BMW can still make a car for the enthusiast driver. But I do feel that tech just for the sake of tech is too much and hate that BMW has dropped the hard buttons on its latest offerings. I also feel that every interior just looks too much the same, from the 2 series to the 7 (other than materials). PS: one of the largest standard passenger cars ever, the 1974-75 Imperial weighed 5100 lbs. FYI, its 7.2 liter 440 could get it to 60 in ~8-9 seconds (albeit in the emissions choked malaise era)
