I have basically the exact same setup, but I did opt for the lsd. The S280 turbo is perfect for that car. Awesome you got to drive one. Most fun car I've ever had. To the owner of this car, the lsd is worth every penny. Wavetrac is the way to go. The amount of grip you get coming out of corners compared to stock is insane. You might as well do a clutch at the same time given how inexpensive the parts are. I went with a new stock clutch, which holds this power level without issue.

Hey is there any other mods I need to get along with s280 to run safely?
@Sc1Z2 жыл бұрын

@realbigtuna6672 жыл бұрын
@@Matt-ml2si Given the S280 bolts in to the stock location, you could just swap it in if you really wanted. Down side would be a fair amount of restriction, which would limit the amount of boost you could run. But you would enjoy the benefits of a much more usable power curve right away, then continue to upgrade other components as you go. With this setup, at minimum you would need an adapter plate from the turbo to the stock down pipe (3" to 2.5"), and a different BOV/DV to handle the additional boost. Also 1 step colder spark plugs, which you should do with any OTS tune for the stock setup anyway. Obviously you would also need something like a Cobb Accessport to tune with. Recommended would be the BOV/DV, a 3" down pipe, which can be used with the stock cat back with a 3" to 2.5" adapter, and a bigger intercooler to remove some restriction and keep IATs down. The stock cat back actually flows well, so if you want to keep it quiet, its fine to keep it. My setup is aimed at getting the most out of the stock fuel system on 93oct, and keeping temps down for open track sessions, while keeping the car quiet enough for daily duty. My S280 build is below for reference: S280 turbo, turbosmart plumb back shortie BOV, Turbosmart 14psi wastegate, Mountune intercooler and hard pipes, Cobb CAI, Woosh 3" catted down pipe, Cobb cat back, and a Mishimoto oil cooler.
